Constructed from heavy-gauge steel, this bumper is much stronger than any OE bumper, no matter whether your factory bumper is chrome-plated steel or one of those flimsy plastic bumper covers. You get the strength and rigidity needed to ward off rocks and tree limbs out on the trail, and protection against mild impacts while on the road. And the attractive yet durable textured powder coat finish is tough enough to withstand scrapes and damage without succumbing to corrosion.
Off-road lights, even at the rear, have come to be expected as part of the standard gear on any well setup off-roader, and this Torxe bumper is no exception. There are recesses on each side of the bumper for LED pod light installation. These openings allow ample room for light mounting and an enclosure for a degree of light protection.
The lights are not included with the bumper, but you’ll find a selection of lights in the product options list. LED lights in the rear bumper can be used for increased illumination when backing up, more light for hitching a trailer, or to illuminate campsite setup or a work area. In addition to space for these lights, the Torxe bumper also has mounts and cutouts necessary for license plate mounting, license plate lights, and for the trailer wiring plug. In addition, many rear bumpers have steps built into the corners to allow easy bed access.
