The Passage is the value priced trunk mount rack that's packed with features you'd expect to only find on a premium bike rack. Features like the patented FitDial™ for ease of installation, soft rubber cradles and anti-sway cages to protect the bikes in transit, and narrow cradle arms to hold a wide range of bikes are all standard on the Passage.
The Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack gives you safe, secure bike transport for a variety of bike sizes and styles, at a great value. The patented FitDial makes installation a snap because it allows you to adjust the rack to fit your particular vehicle. The 6 straps safely secure the rack to the vehicle with vinyl coated buckles that provide a firm hold without scratching the paint and SoftCushion pads that are gentle on the trunk or hatch panel.
The narrow cradle arms on the Passage enable the transport of a wide range of bike frame styles and sizes. When not in use, the cradle arms can be folded down to facilitate parking and garage access. Each bike's frame is protected during transport by the Stay-Put soft rubber cradles and the anti-sway cages that attach to the bikes' vertical downtubes. The cages prevent bike movement that could result in damage from the bikes contacting each other or the vehicle.
The Passage Trunk Bike Rack is available in a version that carries up to 2 bikes and one that carries up to 3. It comes with everything necessary for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.

Thule Trunk Mount
The trunk mount is a good product, but it does not work on the Volkswagen CC. The side straps does not stay in place and slides down the trunk. I believe it's because the CC trunk is more circular as appose to boxy or somewhat square at the bottom of the trunk.

Thule Rack on Miata
The product appears to be well-made, but the instructions are generic. It will hold two bikes as advertised.

Thule Bike Rack
I was amazed at the ease of installation of this product. I took my time and read the directions carefully. When I tested it out with my bike, it seemed secure. It comes with a bike stabilizer and a strap for extra securing of the bike. The only thing, I wish it had was a strap to keep the front wheel of the bike from moving. But I secured it with a bungee cord that I provided. Good value for the money.

Got this bike rack for my mom for Christmas and it's wonderful! She had a bike rack previously but when she purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra it did not fit properly. This bike rack is great and works awesome on her vehicle. Very satisfied!

Great Product
