T&D Machine Racing Parts & Tools

Since 1975, T&D Machine Products has been providing shaft-mount roller rocker arms and other components made by racers for racers. From humble beginnings in the founder's back yard garage, T&D has evolved into the company that top NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World teams rely on. T&D rocker arms are proven to withstand the rigors of racing use, whether installed in endurance engines of NASCAR racing or high revving engines of drag racing.

The founder, Larry Tores, started his business building components for his own race cars and moved to machining parts for leading motorsports manufacturers. He hoisted NHRA's event winner's trophy many times and always knew what racers needed to win and provided them with the necessary parts. In the '80s, the company developed valve train parts for Buick’s stock block V-6 engine program, which set new standards at the Indy 500 and Busch Grand National.

The experts at T&D have been helping performance engine builders and racers to pump that next bit of horsepower out of their engines for several decades already, and when new customers install T&D rockers, they always wonder why they haven’t had them before. Their design has been developed and tested for many years and proven to be efficient by NASCAR teams. T&D rocker arm kits are designed using CAD technologies and then CNC machined for precision. T&D engineers made every possible effort to remove weight from the nose of a rocker arm, thus lowering the mass moment of inertia which helps to increase RPM significantly.

To ensure their rockers are the most rotationally efficient, the professionals at T&D use a tri-fillar suspension to compare them to the competition. A simple lever system makes them as compact as possible, while 2024 aluminum and larger diameter shafts ensure greater strength and durability. Built with racing needs in mind, T&D automotive rocker arms are easy to install and maintain: all the necessary hardware is included, and most models don't require any head modifications. All applications are rebuildable: any part can be removed without damaging the rocker for easier replacement.
