Ignition wires are pivotal for keeping your engine running smoothly and letting it generate the maximum of power and torque. A hot, fat spark is necessary to light the fires inside your combustion chambers. Stock ignition wires start to degrade the day your car rolls off the assembly line, and in a few years may no longer be capable of routing all of the energy from the coil to the spark plug.
