304 SS Exhaust Pipe by Tanabe®. Position: Center. Main Piping Diameter: 2.36" (70mm). Upgrading the Turbine Tube, also known as the downpipe will have the greatest impact on turbocharged vehicles. Turbo efficiency, power, and response if greatly improved with a more free-flowing turbine tube. Each downpipe has an EGT Bung with cap for those who wish to monitor exhaust gas temperatures without having to drill into their downpipe. Also available, the ultra effecient Y-PIPE for vehicles with the VQ35DE engine eliminates huge restrictions found on the factory Nissan/Infiniti exhaust system's piping, and provides huge horsepower gains when used with Tanabe exhaust systems.

Exhaust Gas Temperature Beng

All downpipe iclude an EGT bung located near the exhaust manifold, for accurate monitoring of exhaust gas temperatures. EGT bung is included so that the downpipe will not need to be drilled or modified for this important monitoring feature on turbocharged vehicles.

Flex Piping

There are many solid pipe kits available, but these tend to shear or crack with time due to engine torque twisting and pulling on the heated exhaust system that is bolted to the car. The use of flex pipe on required applications ensures maximum durability.

Tanabe covers all parts with a warranty against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service after proper installation (excluding the conditions described below) for a period of one (1) year from the date of original consumer purchase. During the warranty period, Tanabe will, at their option, repair or replace the defective part or refund your money. This warranty does not cover labor reimbursement. This warranty is non-transferable. Replacement parts are warranted from the date of exchange for a period of one (1) year. The following is a non-exclusive list of examples that are not considered defects: failure due to accident or collision, chemical fallout, salt, hail, or other environmental conditions including natural disasters; improper installation, self-installation, or modification of the part; vehicles under manufacturers recall for a related problem; and misuse or abuse, including off-roading or racing. Due to the racing nature and extremely high amounts of stress that are placed upon the suspension and drivetrain, Tanabe will honor this warranty on the DRIFT line of products only prior to installation.
