The Suzuki Forsa is a twin of the supermini Suzuki Swift, marketed in North America (the U.S. and Canada), Chile, and Ecuador. The Forsa was manufactured between 1985 and 1988 and was powered with a 1.0 L carbureted inline-3 engine. The performance-oriented version of this Suzuki came equipped with a 1.0L direct fuel-injected gasoline turbocharged three-cylinder engine. In 1984, it was announced that GM is planning to market the refreshed version of this Suzuki further, but under Chevy and Pontiac brands, and Suzuki offered selling the revised version of the Forsa under the Swift nameplate later on.
