Transmission Oil Cooler Assembly by Replace®. Modern automatic transmissions operate at extremely high fluid temperatures. If an additional cooler is plumbed into the system by the factory then that cooler must function properly for transmission fluid temperature to be maintained. If fluid temperatures rise significantly, then the fluid will degrade, and internal components like seals and clutches will eventually deteriorate to the point that the transmission fails. If your transmission oil cooler is defective, don’t pay the high price at the dealer for a replacement when you can get an OE quality unit from Replace.

A transmission oil cooler is a liquid-to-air heat exchanger similar to a radiator or A/C condenser. A system of tubes carrying the liquid (transmission fluid) is attached to thin metal plates called fins. The heat from the fluid is transferred to the fins where it can be removed by air passing through the cooler. Internal tube clogging, dents in the tubes, or anything that impedes the flow of fluid through the cooler, and bent fins or debris stuck in the fins, or anything that impedes airflow through the cooler, can reduce effective heat transfer and cause the fluid to overheat. Overheated transmission fluid can oxidize and lose its lubricating ability, turn to varnish and clog small transmission passages.
In the past if you needed a transmission oil cooler you had to pay for an expensive replacement from the dealer. Today you can fix your car or truck properly and have money left in your pocket with a quality replacement oil cooler from Replace. Replace offers OE quality oil coolers at less than original equipment prices. You get the same quality part that you’d get at the dealer without the high dealer price. A Replace transmission oil cooler will look, fit and function just like a cooler from the dealer, so the transmission in your car or truck will perform properly. Replace oil coolers are designed using the latest software so they exactly replicate the OE units, then they’re manufactured using the most modern tooling, so the end product looks, fits and functions exactly as designed.
Repairing your car or truck is expensive enough without paying more than necessary for quality parts. A Replace oil cooler is the sensible alternative to the high dealer price markup. A Replace oil cooler will get your car or truck operating perfectly again, without breaking the bank. Replace is so confident in the quality of its parts that they’re backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed.
When selecting the Replace® component that is right for your model from the Product Options list, you may be offered a choice of Good, Better or Best. Good may be a part manufactured by a different company than the one that made the original part, but because it's based on the same design, it will look and function identically to the OE part. Better may be a part made by a brand name manufacturer and Best may be a part made by the same manufacturer that made the original part. Some parts labeled Best bear the seal of the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA), an independent, non-profit organization that oversees a testing program to guarantee the quality of automotive parts. CAPA certified replacement parts meet the industry's toughest standards. But regardless of how the part is labeled, have confidence that whichever one you choose, it will appear and function to your satisfaction.
