Product Details

HVAC Heater Core by Replace®. The heater core is located in a case under the dash, and is connected into the engine cooling system. It is usually made of copper or aluminum and consists of tubes to carry the coolant and fins to transfer heat to the passenger cabin. As the coolant circulates through the core, the blower motor blows air through the core, warming the interior. If testing proves that your heater core is leaking or clogged, don't pay the high dealer price for a replacement, when you can get an OE quality heater core for much less from Replace.

Features

  • CAPA certification provides detailed testing and inspection procedures to ensure the quality of the parts covered by that Specification
  • Same quality as OE for less money
  • Designed with the latest software and manufactured with modern tooling
  • Direct replacement
  • Installs the same as factory unit
  • Same dimensions as OE part
  • No vehicle modifications required for installation
  • Backed by a limited lifetime warranty

The most common cause for heater core replacement is leakage. Wet carpet and a slimy film on the windows accompanied by the somewhat sweet smell of anti-freeze are sure indicators of a leaking heater core. If in doubt the cooling system should be pressure tested. The heater core can also become plugged, in which case heat output will be less than satisfactory.

In the past if you needed a heater core you had to pay for an expensive replacement from the dealer. Today you can fix your car or truck properly and have money left in your pocket with a quality replacement heater core from Replace. Replace offers OE quality heater cores at less than original equipment prices. You get the same quality part that you'd get at the dealer without the high dealer price. A Replace heater core will look, fit and function just like a heater core from the dealer, so the HVAC Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning system in your car or truck will perform properly. Replace heater cores are designed using the latest software so they exactly replicate the OE units, then they're manufactured using the most modern tooling, so the end product looks, fits and functions exactly as designed.

Repairing your car or truck is expensive enough without paying more than necessary for quality parts. A Replace heater core is the sensible alternative to the high dealer price markup. A Replace heater core will get your car or truck operating perfectly again, without breaking the bank. Replace is so confident in the quality of its parts that they're backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed.

Replace® is dedicated to providing original equipment (OE) quality body parts and lights without the high OE price. Rather than deal with so-called "universal" parts that may or may not fit your vehicle, Replace sells only parts that have OE quality fit, function and appearance. They believe such parts should be affordable so you can repair your vehicle to its former state, restoring your pride of ownership and preserving its resale value. With Replace parts you can just say no to high dealer prices.

Heater Core Replacement
This heater core is not something just anyone should tackle. I'm lucky to have a son to take on the project. Could have been expensive to do in a shop.

Heater Core
this worked out ok wasn't a perfect fit had to cut away one little section on the plastic top cover where the screw right by the passenger side tube is, so i cut the part where the screw goes off to make it fit , used some aluminum duct Tape on that spot, all in all it works, i'm satisfied how it worked out! Please note the tubes are adjustable, you can adjust their position somewhat . Also had to improvise on the foam tape that surrounds the heater would be helpful if they would include it!
