    • Can I use RCV shafts with:

      ARB - Yes

      Detroit Locker – Yes

      Lockouts - Warn preferred

      Knuckles – Crane, Reid, Spidertrax may require some clearancing

      Big Brakes - Not Recommended with Vanco

      Ball Joints - Synergy Manufacturing & Dynatrac ProSteer Ball Joints with the JK will work. Sometimes slight clearancing is needed.

      What other parts will I need?
      Everything you will need to install your axles will be sent to you with your order.
      What is the CV joint diameter of the Dana 30, 44, and 60?

      Dana 30 - 3.75”

      Dana 44 - 3.75”

      Dana 44 Non-Unit Bearing - 3.563”

      Dana 60 - 4.485”

      What is the diameter of RCV shafts?

      Dana 30 - 1.13”

      Dana 44 - 1.25”

      Can I install RCV CV axles myself?
      Yes. RCV Performance do have installation instructions & videos available on our site.
      Do RCV CV Axles work with sleeved tubes?
      Yes RCV shafts fit with no problem.
      Do the axles bolt in or do I need to make any modifications?
      Most simply bolt in, while some will require simple clearance modifications on the bolts and steering knuckles.
      Should grease be coming out of my Spherical Sealing Technology CV Seal?
      You may see some grease, however, it should be easily wiped away.
    • Do you make rear axles?
      RCV Performance have full floaters and are now taking orders for rear axle shafts for the Dana 44 JK - 32 & 35 spline 300M.
      Do you have anything larger than a Dana 60?
      RCV Performance currently are manufacturing the first run of our Rockwell sized CV joint. Equipped with 1 1/8” ball bearings, a 2” 47 spline stub and 300M internal components, this CV will be able to withstand 50” plus tires.
      Can your Spherical Sealing Technology CV Seals fit with axles produced by other manufactures?
      No. Spherical Sealing Technology CV Seals are designed to conform to the unique shape of Ultimate CV Axles.
      Can you rebuild your CV joints?
      Yes
      What material is used to make your axles?
      4340 and 300M chromoly steel.
      Can I use RCV axles for my daily driver?
      Yes
      How often should I grease the axles and how do I grease them?
      RCV Performance recommend 4-5 pumps using a manual grease gun every 6 months. Our axles have an easy to use zerk fitting for simple greasing.
      Can RCV axle sets be configured with spindle upgrades?
      Yes RCV Performance can configure RCV axles for all popular spindle upgrades - Spyntek , Dynatrac, and more.
      What is the max tire size for RCV shafts?

      Dana 30 - 35”

      Dana 44 - 40”
