The Xtreme White Plus series is designed to provide an extremely bright white light with the color temperature similar to HID bulbs. The 4000K color the Xtreme White Plus bulbs produce makes them the perfect alternative to pricey HID bulbs that also require ballasts and in many cases wiring modifications. These PIAA bulbs are engineered to optimize the light output of your stock or aftermarket lights, so you can get the most out of them without any adjustment required. Most likely, you'll just need to remove your existing halogen bulbs and put in your PIAA bulbs.
