Each of Halo styles offers a different look. CCFL Halos have a soft ambient glow and smooth light output. While showing up great at night, they are not as pronounced in the daylight. SMD Halos offer an intense appearance, bright output, and can be clearly seen during the day and at night. They are the most popular to date. Plasma Halos combine technologies of both CCFL and SMD, offering ultra intensive light output with a smooth glow. These are by far the brightest Halos.
The ORACLE Halo Kit is the most head-turning modification you can do for such a small investment. Throw out what you think you know about Halo lights because you have not seen anything until you have seen a set of ORACLE Halos in person. These Halos utilize the latest technologies to be seen vividly even in direct sunlight. Regardless of what you drive, CARiD has a Halo solution for you.
It goes without saying but when you pull up to the local Friday Night car meet and switch on a set of ORACLE Halos as you pull into the parking lot... heads turn! These lights do not look like cheap set of "off the shelf" headlights... because they are not. These Halos install into your existing quality OE factory lights, which preserves the original styling of the vehicle while adding your own custom flare! Unlike other cheap "Halo" headlights that use one LED to illuminate the ring, the ORACLE rings have hundreds of high-quality 3528 Bridgelux (made in the USA) LEDs. This product is so well engineered, that it will outlive your car... Guaranteed! That is right, these kits carry a lifetime warranty.
ORACLE LED/SMD Technology Halos (Light Emitting Diode/Surface Mount Diode), are composed of circuit board material. These Halos have an expected life of 100,000 hours that will outlast your vehicle. LED/SMD Halos do not require power inverters, they operate from the 12V current of your vehicle.
ORACLE LED (SMD) Halo Kits use High-Powered Surface Mount Diodes to produce brilliant luminescence that is easily visible even in direct sunlight. These LED Halo Rings are composed of a 6-Layer circuit board which gives the ring a rigid structure. The rings are powered directly to 12V power without any inverter or other external devices. These rings are also available in ColorSHIFT, which is capable of making the ring change into hundreds of different colors.
ORACLE CCFL Halo Kits use Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting for smooth, consistent, bright and even-lit ring illumination. CCFL is a Phosphor-coated glass tube (similar to neon) that is powered via a separate inverter and connected to the ring by a PNP connector. This glass tube does need to be handled with care during installation. CCFL tubes are rated at 50,000 hours of continuous use, and ORACLE CCFL Halos carry a limited lifetime warranty.
ORACLE CCFL Technology Halos (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting) are composed of glass material. These Halos have an expected lifetime of 50,000 hours that can outlast your vehicle. The expected output from the CCFL halo rings is a continuous smooth ambient light. CCFL Technology requires power inverters, that are included in ORACLE Halo kits, to down-convert the current.
ORACLE Plasma Halo Rings are the latest advancement in solid-state LED Lighting Technology. These new Plasma Halos feature Chip-On-Board (COB) design where hundreds of semiconductors make direct contact to the circuit board, essentially turning the entire circuit board in the luminaire. This design ensures optimal thermal management, high packing density (no spaces), and provides overall high performance light output. This new Plasma LED technology is not only brighter than previous LED Halo rings, but also features very consistent light output and appears as one solid ring rather than individual LEDs.

Lifetime expectancy: 90,000 hours
Output: smooth, balanced, and bright.
ORACLE SMD Halos use a special type of LED: "Surface Mount Diode." SMD is an advanced type of LED chip that can produce bright and brilliant light output while only consuming a very small amount of power. The SMD chips are installed onto a CAD designed 6-Layer PCB (Printed Circuit Board) which is very sturdy and will not break if pressured.
The PCB design can easily be mounted to a headlight housing using the 3M self-adhesive tape backing.
ORACLE SMD Halos are available in the "ColorSHIFT" option and utilize 5050 RGB tri-node SMD LEDs to allow you to easily change the SMD Halo to any color you wish via the included wireless controller.
CCFL - Headlight Halo Kits use Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting XE technology, which delivers a smooth and even Halo illumination. The ORACLE new "XE" rings are thicker and more sturdy than traditional CCFL tubes that makes them brighter and more durable. The new "XE" CCFL Inverters also feature a newer updated design.
CCFL is a Phosphor-coated glass tube which illuminates when current is passed through it. The current is input on both ends of the ring and has no polarity. CCFL Halos have an expected lifetime of 50,000 hours of continuous use and come with a lifetime warranty.
CCFL Halos require an external power supply. ORACLE "XE" Power Inverters are included in every CCFL Halo Kit system.
CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting) core technology is a Phosphor-coated glass tube filled with mercury gas. CCFL produces a very bright white light with a slight hint of blue or cyan. The look is very "high-tech" and matches HID equipped lights exceedingly well. Additionally, this technology provides an extremely bright light output from the Halo rings, so they're visible day or night.
Life: 50,000 hours
Output: smooth output
ORACLE CCFL Halos are rated at 50,000 hours of continuous use.
Also known as Halos, Angel Eyes, etc., Demon Eyes are an attractive and legal alternative to the mundane OEM daytime running lights. Developed originally by BMW, the "Halos" surround the outside edge of the reflectors in your headlight housings. When your car is on, the rings will light up just like your normal DRLs would.
Any person having basic tools and some technical experience and understanding of 12V power can install the Demon Eyes. Normal installation time for a first-timer is 3-5 hours.
Most dealerships will regard the Demon Eyes kit in the same manner as an aftermarket fog light kit, since these Halos can be installed without affecting the electrical system of the vehicle.
ORACLE Halo kits are shipped with "Plug and Play" connectors so you can plug the inverter directly into the parking light and turn on and off from the factory headlight switch.
