In more recent times, Mettec has expanded its capabilities into manufacturing high-strength steel alloys such as A286, H11, 4340, and Hastelloy. Mettec is one of a few companies that can produce structural-grade titanium alloy fasteners at an elevated strength range of 160Ksi (1100 Mpa) to 195Ksi (1355 Mpa).

Mettec capabilities include CNC mill and lathes, gun-drilling, centerless grinding, thread rolling, hot forging, shot peening, and PVD coatings. Mettec is capable of handling digital .IGES, .DXF, .DWG, and .PDF files. You can submit your files via internet or on CD.

All these processes are used by Mettec to make their own product which is mainly titanium fasteners. All work is planned and managed to ISO 9001-2008 standards.

Why Mettec?

Very simple answer, Mettec will deliver on time, parts made to specification, impeccable surface finish, and Mettec is compliant to ISO 9001-2008.

Processing Quality

Titanium is very process sensitive and it is important to use correct fabrication and machining procedures to yield proper grain structure. Mettec fasteners and axles are made in the U.S.A. using forged heads and rolled threads. Some other titanium fastener manufactures, mainly foreign, make their fasteners by machining them from bar stock and are inferior products. When you purchase Mettec products you will see first hand the unsurpassed journeyman quality in each part. Mettec experience is relied upon by top performers around the world.
