Product Details

Lowering Coil Springs by Megan Racing®. Megan Racing Performance Lowering Springs are constructed of SAE 9254 Cold Wounded Steel, one of the strongest materials available. The high tensile strength and phosphate powder coating delivers outstanding spring rates that are extremely durable and resist premature "sagging".

Features

  • Made with quality and safety in mind
  • The highest grade materials and the latest technologies
  • Can help extend service intervals reducing costs and increasing convenience
  • Perfect solution for your motoring needs

The result is a spring that specifically offers race-car handling, yet maintains smooth and comfortable ride characteristics. Carefully matched springs rates provide exceptional handling, response, control and balance. These springs offer a generous drop to your car while remaining very "street-able" by having enough clearance to avoid bottoming-out; and the lowered center of gravity improves performance and increases stability, as well as enhancing the appearance of the vehicle.

Since its inception in 2001, Megan Racing® has always stuck with the same goals and principles that have carried its name throughout the years. Fueled by the spirit of competition, it has strived to manufacture premium high-performance products, ranging from exhaust and suspension parts to carbon fiber products and racing seats, while having them affordable for the grassroots enthusiast. The company stands at the forefront of production technology, utilizing everything from stronger and lighter materials to new techniques in welding, which gives it a leading edge over competing manufacturers. Megan Racing is constantly on the lookout for more efficient and higher quality manufacturing methods to make its most tried and true products even better.

I really love the way the car rides. It is extremely smooth. However, I thought that the car would be lower than it actually ended up being. It's not low at all actually. It just looks like a stock car should, not how a lowered car should look. There wasn't a way to determine online what type of springs I should have bought for the look I was going for. If the springs had been just a half an inch lower than what they are, I would have been happy! The major problem was that these springs were the only option. There wasn't another option to get coil overs that were 1/2 an inch lower. I will never shop for something like this again online again! At the end of the day, I can't exchange them and there isn't a variety of coil over spring options regarding how low I wanted the car to sit. Mixed feelings!

Looks great. Nice and simple installation. Looks great after my car settled in the springs.

I really enjoyed the springs for the whole 2 hours I had the car with the springs installed. They were simple to install and gave my car a great stance. Unfortunately the night I finished putting them on someone totaled my car. Rip to the veloster.

Put these on a 13' Fiesta SE hatch. The spring rate's okay but didn't lower the car at all; if anything the rear springs make the car pitch forward a bit too much which makes steering feel antsy. But, I have polyurethane sway bar bushings so that is having some effect in conjunction. The front springs aren't quite shaped to fit the seat of the struts but that hasn't seemed to be too much of an issue. After a thousand or so miles I put the previous rear springs back on.
