The Blackwood is a pickup truck which was manufactured by the Lincoln Motor Company. The model was sold in the U.S. in 2002 only and also was marketed in Mexico from 2002 to 2003. The Lincoln Blackwood is a luxury version of the Ford F-150 Crew Cab. At its debut, it was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the public. Lincoln's previous successes with marketing the Lincoln Navigator have inspired the company to go on with producing the all-time-first luxury pickup truck, as Cadillac was also developing the Escalade EXT. The Lincoln Blackwood was produced at Kansas City Assembly factory, in Claycomo, Missouri up until December 2002.
