K&N plans to provide the RV/motor home market with K&N guaranteed horsepower air intakes. RV's can definitely utilize the extra power to get up to speed, especially on inclines, as much as any vehicle on the road. The factory air filter and intake track in these motor homes restrict air flow. The K&N automotive air intake system is designed to provide excellent filtration while being less restrictive, resulting in more power. It takes less than 90 minutes to install most K&N air intakes with common tools. All K&N air intakes come with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty®.
K&N Air Intake for the Ford V10 RV / Motorhome
K&N Engineering has developed a 77 Series High-Flow Performance Air Intake System (77-2570KTK) in textured black for the Ford models listed below. K&N dynamometer tests show a horsepower gain of 17.48 @ 4101 on the stock 2006 Ford E-350 6.8 liter V-10 engine.
K&N Air Intake for the 2006 GMC TopKick CK4500/CK5500 and Chevy Kodiac CK4500/CK5500 Chasis
General Motors has a line of heavy duty truck chasis which include the GMC Topkick and the Chevrolet Kodiak. The Kodiak and TopKick can be used as the base for RV / Motorhome applications and deliver powerful torque and high towing capacity.
K&N has developed a performance air intake system (77-3064KTK) for the 2006 GMC Topkick CK4500/CK5500 and 2006 Chevrolet Kodiak CK4500/CK5500. K&N's dynamometer test showed a horsepower gain of 10.01 @ 2944 RPM for this air intake system.
K&N replaces the factory intake housing with a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube. This intake system draws air from a K&N high-flow air filter (RC-5165) that will never need replaced.
K&N Air Intake for the 2004 and 2005 GMC TopKick CK4500/CK5500 and Chevy Kodiac CK4500/CK5500 Chasis
K&N has designed a high flow air intake system (77-3063KTK) in textured black for the 2004 and 2005 GM TopKick and Chevy Kodiak 4500 / 5500 Duramax Diesels.
K&N Dyno tested the 77-3063KTK and found a 14.92 horsepower gain @ 2612 RPM. K&N Engineers replaces the original air intake assembly with a free-flowing intake tube and K&N high-flow air filter.
A powder coated steel heat shield mounts in place of the stock air box to protects the chrome top K&N air filter. The heat shield isolates the air filter from engine heat delivering cooler air to the engine.
