When it comes to performance exhaust systems, most people are looking for three things: Power, sound, and quality. JBA exhaust systems deliver the best of all three, giving it both great looks and performance. One of the first performance upgrades typically made to a vehicle is the addition of a performance exhaust system. While there is a high demand for performance sound the capacity for power in a JBA exhaust system gives JBA the extra edge. Each system is tuned to provide the best possible exhaust tone without being overwhelming from within the vehicle. By replacing the restrictive factory exhaust system with free flowing mandrel-bent stainless tubing and quality performance mufflers, JBA has developed the power, sound, and efficiency desired in a vehicle. Each kit is finished with a polished chrome plated stainless steel tip that resist discoloring, along with high quality hardware and thorough instructions for a simple bolt-on installation.

JBA® is one of the most trusted names in the aftermarket exhaust industry because of commitment to manufacturing excellence. JBA product designs are original and innovative and always deliver. Power, quality, fit, durability and smog legality are what JBA are known for. In 1987, those qualities were not present in the header or exhaust industry so JBA set out to build products to meet the needs of the growing street performance market.

Warranty

All JBA headers and exhaust products are guaranteed, to the original purchaser, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year. This warranty covers the replacement or repair of the product only and does not cover the cost of removal and installation, customer applied aftermarket coatings or any discoloration or corrosion of finished surfaces.

Damage or product failure resulting from collision, improper installation, off-road use, road hazards, the use of exhaust insulating wrap or like products or rust occurring after installation, is not covered by the warranty. The warranty extends only to the original purchaser.

Certain uses or occurrences listed below will void this warranty.

Purchaser Assumes Responsibility: JBA expressly disclaims, and the purchaser expressly assumes, responsibility for all labor related costs and any incidental or consequential damages arising from any JBA product installation or failure. JBA’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. JBA, at its option, may refund the amount of the purchase to end a warranty claim. Labor charges incurred to install or remove the product are not covered. Damage resulting from incorrect timing, fuel system problems, clogged catalytic converters or backfire is not covered. Charges for the loss of use of vehicle, car rentals, and towing are the responsibility of the customer and are not covered. Cost of customer-applied coatings is not covered. As sound preference is subjective, sound is not warranted. Other than the warranty described herein, JBA products are sold as is. No warranty terms are implied. The terms of this warranty are severable. Any provision voided by state or other applicable law shall not act to enlarge other provisions of this warranty except as expressly required by law. Catalytic converters and other products sold but not manufactured by JBA are subject to the product manufacturer’s warranty only and are not warranted by JBA.

JBA reserves the right to change the price, design, material, or specifications of any product without notice.

The Following Will Void This Warranty: Use of heat-wrap products and/or the use of fuels other than gasoline will void this warranty. Damage caused by improper installation is not covered under this warranty. Damage caused by collision, road hazards, or failure of other components is not covered. Any repair or alteration to a JBA product not performed by JBA or its authorized agents will void this warranty.

JBA cannot assume responsibility for compliance with local law and regulations regarding smog and noise standards. Headers described as “smog legal” are warranted to be C.A.R.B. (California Air Resources Board) exempt or pending exemption approval. This warranty is extended solely to the original purchaser and for the original vehicle on which the product was installed.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More

JBA- 409 SS Cat-Back Exhaust Install

JBA® 40-1403 - 409 SS Cat-Back Exhaust System with Dual Side Exit

Installed on 05 Nissan Titan V8 - On my back. This isn't the first time I have done this type of work. Took as long to remove the old system as it took to install the new. Dry fitted the system to determine order of assembly. Installed from rear to front. Checked alignment and tightened all clamps. (the kit came with band clamps). Total time: 11:00 am to 3:00 with 1:20 for lunch and coffee. Done! Tools used: floor jack - stands, cutting torch, rubber mallet, 24 oz ball pein, 3/8 drift, sockets, 3/8 impact gun, new hardware to cat.

I love the way the exhaust looks and the way it feels when you drive but it’s definitely not as loud as I was expecting, sounds similar to stock but I’m not complaining.
