There’s no feeling in a performance car quite like the driving enjoyment that comes from replacing worn, loose suspension componentsthat weren’t designed for handling in the first place with beefed-up quality ones that are. Hotchkis offers Tubular Lower Control Arms for those looking to firm up the handling of their vehicle. They come ready to install and bolt on easily for instant, quick response that takes the place of slop and excess play that make your ride unpleasant to drive. And there’s nothing like the peace of mind knowing that components you use feature higher-strength steel and a Tungsten Gas Insert (TIG) welding process which generates the most even welds that provide a consistent level of bonding strength on all areas – eliminating inconsistencies which cause weak points, metal fatigue, or even failure.

The Lower Control Arm set bolts on with no modifications required, so you’ll be able to hit the streets in no time. Hotchkis believes high-performance parts are nothing without durability, and takes great care to ensure these arms are built to maintain their integrity over sustained, heavy-duty use. For example, forged, heat-treated housings and ball studs provide more strength than standard-spec components. All hardware is stainless steel for a lifetime of freedom from corrosion, so seized and rusted nuts and bolts are one thing you won’t need to face should you need to make adjustments down the road. Hotchkis uses maximum strength “carbon steel” (steel with a higher carbon content than most) that’s harder than typical stainless steel and extremely resistant to bending or denting. The best knives are made from it, and it’s used in a wide variety of heavy-duty industrial applications such as shipbuilding, electrical power plants, and pipeline construction. An outer finish of durable powder coat is applied to ensure peeling, discoloration, and deterioration are eliminated while long term corrosion protection is locked in. Hotchkis builds all components in the United States, and backs them with a 3-year warranty against failure due to manufacturing defects.

Founded in Santa Fe Springs, California in the late 1960s during the height of the original muscle car boom, Hotchkis® got its start building products that blessed GM, Mopar, and Ford performance cars with new abilities to corner and handle with stability at racetrack speeds. As the company's reputation for building quality products grew, Hotchkis components soon found their way onto all kinds of vehicles that were not made to go fast in any way, shape, or form. It didn't take long before station wagons, convertibles, and pickup trucks were wheeling around tracks all over Southern California with the tenacity of sports cars. After decades of developing suspension-enhancing products that have led to victories in championship racing events, slalom track competitions, and street challenges, Hotchkis has refined and perfected their manufacturing techniques to become the internationally respected company they are today.
