Sport Diamond Cut Rear Lowering Leaf Springs and Shackles with 3" Body Drop (2413C) by Hotchkis®. Quantity: 2 per Pack. This is a set of two replacement leaf springs curved specifically to lower the ride height of your rear suspension 1.5 inches. Crafted from heavy gauge reinforced steel, a durable powder coat finish effectively resists corrosion, peeling, and scratches. Eliminate extra space between tires and fender wells for an aggressive look, and gain a lower center of gravity that increases handling stability. Leaf spring eyes come with urethane rear bushings and rubber front bushings already pressed in to offer top performance and ride comfort. Kit also includes heavy-duty Hotchkis shackles, u-bolts, spring pads, and stainless steel hardware. Some drilling required.

If the leaf springs on your vehicle show significant age, wear, and deterioration from hazardous terrain or corrosive road salt and just don’t have the resilience they once did, there’s minimal point in re-using them with lowering shackles or hangers. Putting tired old springs back on and expecting good results can be very disappointing, and that’s why Hotchkis lets you purchase an entire set of new leaf springs and shackles specifically designed for the different stresses of lowered vehicles. Rear Lowering Leaf Springs contain two full-length leafs and one three-quarter length overload spring – a configuration which greatly reduces axle wrap under heavy compression. To create an optimum balance between handling and ride comfort, bushings in the front are rubber while bushings on the rear are urethane.
Whether your vehicle came with a mono- or multi-leaf configuration, these replacement springs will work on either. Reinforced, heavy-grade steel provides the strength and rigidity needed to stand up to heavy loads and large tires, and durable powder coat finish ensures steel surfaces remain protected from corrosion thanks to its high resistance to peeling, chipping, or scratching in extreme conditions. Once installed, the reduced ride height and new shackles lower your vehicle’s center of gravity which, in turn, reduces body roll and any tendencies to lean over. The result is more stable handling at any speed and reduced oversteer where high mass pushes the rear of your vehicle sideways.
