Fuel Injection Throttle Body by Hitachi®. The outlet gasket is serviced separately. It features a microcomputer to control the valve opening quickly and precisely, keeping the engine torque at a constant level when adjusting the air/fuel ratio and thus providing improved fuel economy and emissions performance.

The electronic throttle body (ETB) is a main part of an electronic throttle control (ETC) system. The ETB controls the volume of air flow entering the engine. It features a butterfly valve which opens and closes according to a signal from the engine control unit. With an electronic control throttle body, it is possible to open or close the throttle valve according to the changing condition of the vehicle. Compared to a mechanical type throttle body, it is a system of higher accuracy that allows for increased fuel economy.
