Front and Rear Sway Bar End Links (7960) by Hellwig®. Hellwig offers sets of replacement end link rods with adjustable length to regulate an anti-sway bar’s tightness. Replace worn or non-adjustable factory end links and gain better stability at any speed. Heavy gauge steel provides beefed up strength to reduce flexing under hard cornering, and adjustability on both ends allows roll stiffness level to be easily tailored to your preference. Loosen them up for normal everyday driving or tighten them for aggressive driving.

Worn or damaged anti-sway bar end link rods can create just enough excess play in your suspension that roll stiffness is compromised. On the street, it can make the difference between successfully powering through a turn and a disastrous curb hit which destroys tires, wheels, and control arms. Hellwig lets you replace and upgrade your standard sway bar end links with their Adjustable End Link assemblies – available in a range of sizes to fit your needs. Once they are attached to both ends of your anti-sway bar and your vehicle’s suspension, a simple hand adjustment lets you choose multiple levels of roll stiffness.

Lumpy, rough roads won’t be as punishing when comfort is selected, and you won’t need to give up any performance when you want it. Balanced for neutral steering and precise turn-in response, these adjustable end links reduce side-to-side body roll around turns, enhance grip, and reduce unwanted weight transfer that slows cornering speeds. An outer finish of durable powder coat is applied to ensure peeling, discoloration, and deterioration are eliminated while long-term corrosion protection is ensured. Polyurethane bushings at both ends provide superior cushioning to prevent harsh vibrations being transferred to the passenger area, and their resilient nature won’t compromise your vehicle’s handling by squishing flat the way rubber will. Polyurethane also offers the ability to perform extremely well under extreme temperatures and resist collapsing, deforming, or crumbling after being exposed to road grime, salt, and leaking oils.

Hellwig's® history began in 1941 with a patent Rudy Hellwig had been granted for an overload spring design he had developed and perfected. Hammering out the springs by hand in a rented blacksmith shop in Kansas, Rudy moved to California after the end of World War II, steel rationing made materials more widely available. Founding Hellwig Products in 1946 out of Glendale, California, Rudy began manufacturing springs that restored ride height, stability, and control to trucks and campers weighed down with heavy cargo. Rudy's philosophy was to build products that exceed customer's expectations in both performance and durability, and his business practices of taking care of customers after a sale quickly built the company a positive reputation. After a 1963 Hot Rod Magazine feature showed how effectively Hellwig adjustable stabilizers eliminated handling problems inherent in stock Chevrolet Corvair suspensions, word of the company's products spread.

Warranty

Hellwig Products Company, Inc., give you, the original retail consumer, Hellwig warranty that each new Hellwig product of Hellwig manufacture shall be free from defects of material and workmanship as set forth in this limited warranty. Length of coverage: Except as provided below Hellwig offers the following warranty durations by products. (A) Hellwig steel spring and sway bar products and their components are warranted for the normal life of the vehicle these products are originally installed upon. (B) Hellwig Air Suspension systems, air sleeves, air bellows and air compressor systems are warranted for two years from the original purchase date. This extends only to the product installed on the original vehicle.

A dated receipt will be required to be presented at the time of any warranty request. The warranty for any Hellwig product is terminated immediately and automatically when (1) you transfer ownership of the product to someone else (2) it is used for purpose not intended, whether with your consent or not (3) the product is installed on a second vehicle, regardless of when the second installation takes place. Because of these provisions, the warranty is not transferrable. Hellwig’s Obligations: Hellwig’s Obligations shall be limited to replacing or repairing, free of charge, any part or parts that reasonably appear to us upon inspection to have been defective in material and/or workmanship.

Warranty Exclusions and Limitations: This limited warranty does not cover the following, and you will be responsible for any costs or injury you sustain by reason of these things: Parts and labor necessary for installation, removal, reinstallation, vehicle modification, or any vehicle repair, service or replacement, regardless of cause; Any repairs or replacement of the product by anyone other than Hellwig at its Visalia, California plant pursuant to this warranty; Unreasonable use, failure to install or maintain the product properly, modification of the product or failure attributable to a defect in the vehicle; towing, fire, theft, environmental condition, or negligent, accidental or intentional damage or destruction; Any repairs or replacement if the product was used in a vehicle used at any time for delivery or common carrier service; Provision or reimbursement for loaned vehicles or parts for use while the product is being serviced; Incidental or consequential damages (that is, compensation for loss of use of the product or vehicle, inconvenience, lost profits, or any other indirect loss). Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion any may not apply to you. Because installation and removal are not covered by this warranty, Hellwig recommend that you inspect the installation of each Hellwig product, especially sway bars and accessories springs, to insure that the product was installed safely and presents beyond a reasonable doubt no danger to any other part(s) of the vehicle such as brake lines, gas lines, sewer lines, or the chassis.

Important Provisions Regarding Your Rights Outside the Warranty: The duration of any IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY (an unwritten warranty sometimes imposed by law that the product is fit for ordinary use), if any or FITNESS FOR USE (an unwritten warranty sometimes imposed by law that the product is fit for a particular purpose), if any SHALL TERMINATED UPON TERMINATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, or sooner if allowed by law. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty is the only express warranty, representation, or other agreement between you and Hellwig.
