Product Details

Buick Regal 1976, Spare Tire Bolt and Wing Nut by Goodmark®. Some other restoration sheet metal companies may carry popular panels like hoods, fenders and quarter panels, but far too often they come up empty when you need supporting parts like braces, brackets and filler panels. Don't waste your time with them! The restoration experts at Goodmark have everything you need to properly complete the job. From tailgate post patches to trunk floor braces, Goodmark has the body parts you need to repair your classic or muscle car.

Features:

  • Authentic reproductions of the original parts
  • Makes the interiors of classic and muscle cars like new
  • Highest quality interior parts available
  • Designed with the latest software and manufactured using modern tooling
  • Identical in form and function to the original parts
  • The largest supplier of sheet metal parts in the GM Restoration Parts Program

You want the exterior of your classic car to look great because that's what everyone sees when you cruise down the street. And since the engine is the heart and soul of every muscle car, it too has to look and sound impressive. But if you built your car to drive, you'll be spending most of your time behind the wheel, so what about your interior? Shabby door panels, cracked seats and missing control knobs will make your car look and feel like an old clunker, no matter how shiny the paint and chrome are on the outside. Don't neglect the cockpit of your cruiser; make it new again with authentic reproduction interior parts from Goodmark.

Restoring cars isn't just a business for the people at Goodmark, they're also car enthusiasts and restorers just like you, and they wouldn't make anything they wouldn't install on their own cars or trucks. Each interior part is CAD/CAM designed to make sure it exactly replicates the original part, and then it's manufactured with the most modern tooling. Each design is test fit to make sure it looks and fits perfectly. Many Goodmark parts have been approved by the manufacturers of the original equipment and are licensed to be sold as genuine replacement parts.

Goodmark has the interior parts to make your classic and muscle car showroom new. Are your gauge faces faded? Are the dash knobs worn and pitted? Goodmark has the gauges and instruments, and ignition, lighting, and heater and A/C controls to make your dash appealing again. Nothing makes a car look old and worn out more than a cracked steering wheel and worn pedals. Goodmark has the reproductions that will make your classic look like it's never been driven.

Are your sunvisors drooping? Shift boot torn? Armrests falling off the door panels? No matter what area of your interior is need, Goodmark has the parts, from kick panels to consoles, and sill plates to shifters. Once your interior is redone with Goodmark parts, you'll be able to slide behind the wheel, crank up the oldies and cruise in style like the old days. The only thing missing will be the 25 cent per gallon gas!

Goodmark® was founded in 1991 by car enthusiasts, restorers and collectors just like you. They recognized that there was a need for quality restoration parts, especially sheet metal parts, if the restoration of our beloved American classics was to continue. Since that time, Goodmark has created a complete line of sheet metal, trim parts, and accessories for popular cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, and for previously difficult to restore cars like the Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Barracuda. Goodmark uses CAD/CAM (computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing) software and modern tooling and manufacturing techniques to create parts that are identical to factory original for perfect fit and finish. Quality parts tooled and manufactured by Goodmark are enabling many more American classic and muscle cars to return to the road, looking just as fine as the day they rolled off the assembly line.

Warranty Information

Goodmark warrants its parts to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in manufacturing and materials for a period of 120 days from the original date of purchase. Goodmark also will require pictures of the defect prior to a claim being filed. Liability of Goodmark under this warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective part or a refund of the purchase price of the product. Goodmark hereby disclaims all other warranties, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Goodmark is not responsible for damage caused by abuse, incorrect installation, modification, shipping, accidents or normal wear; nor is Goodmark responsible for labor charges, inconvenience or other expenses related to installation or use of Company products.

Goodmark Sheet Metal FYI Due to the nature of the material and production, the sheet metal products you receive may have scratches, dings, small dents and other minor imperfections which are considered normal. These imperfections will easily be corrected during the initial filling, priming and sanding of your repair or restoration. Goodmark does not consider dings, minor dents, scratches in the EDP primer or any other minor imperfection to be defective or damaged. ALL sheet metal panels will require some preparation and manipulation during the install process for a show quality fit and finish. Goodmark recommends that all sheet metal panels should be test fit before any prep work or paint is applied. Minor modifications such as elongating mounting holes, adding shims, etc, are normal and may be necessary when you are installing the product.

A few key facts to note are: Some driving conditions such as racing can put added stress on a vehicle's frame causing it to twist out of the factory's original tolerance specs. Poorly performed body work from a previous collision or restoration can cause problems with the body structure to which the panels are attached. A vehicle that has been sitting motionless, collecting rust, etc. for years may have developed a slumping frame, especially a sub framed car, which can cause fitment issues when installing new sheet metal products such as floor pans, fenders, doors and quarter panels.

The above mentioned situations are just a few key examples that can cause sheet metal panels to be misaligned during a repair or restoration. One other fact to consider is the tolerances on a classic vehicle were not nearly as exact as they are on today's modern vehicles. The primary reason is the assembly of most vintage or classic cars was performed by hand, not by the robotics that are used in today's modernized facilities. Because of this, the mounting points and bolt-holes were unique to each vehicle. Due to the above procedures performed in the past there really is no such thing as a direct, "bolt on" body panel when it comes to older vehicles. Goodmark recommends that you hire a licensed professional that possesses the proper tools, knowledge, skills and experience necessary to install the new panels on your vehicle. A professional can anticipate or repair any imperfections your panels may have prior to installation. Prior to returning any defective body panel or sheet metal item to Goodmark, please contact customer service department. You will be required to send a digital picture of all defects before you receive an RGA. Goodmark will not replace a panel should it be deemed that the panel is not defective, nor will give compensation for labor fees associated with installation.
