Genuine does not manufacture any of the products and accordingly cannot and does not warrant or guarantee their performance, function, or non-infringement of third party rights. Genuine will pass to you any manufacturer's warranties, to the extent permitted, and will use commercially reasonable efforts in presenting and processing any claims against the manufacturer under such warranty.

Warranty does not apply to wear items or parts which became defective due to improper installation, removal, repairs or diagnosis, negligence, mishandling, alteration, modification, or lack of maintenance, flood, accident, or fire. This warranty shall become null and void if the product sold or installed is damaged as a result of the vehicle's use in competitive or off-road driving. Genuine does not cover labor costs for removal or damage resulting from delay or loss of use in service or repair for incidental or consequential damages arising from defective product.

Product was new and had keys for it. It was delivered on time as promised, removing the old lock and putting in new lock was very easy, works great.

Ignition Cylinder Lock Install

I initially purchased a "ignition cylinder lock" because my ignition key was impossible to remove from my 1998 Toyota corolla CE. The replacement was an inexpensive version (35.00-made of pot metal) even so, it lasted a whole year before it too started to fail. I then ordered a more expensive higher quality version(164.00). The new version installed effortlessly. My Toyota now starts each time the key is engaged, this new version was a obvious much higher quality part. It only shows, you get what you pay for. As a added note, installation was made additionally easier by me taking the time to removing steering wheel. Screws that held plastic clamshell covering steering wheel and ignition cylinder lock mechanism making it simple to install a addition ignition lock if necessary without having to remove the steering wheel. If I have to install this item again, I simply pull the plastic clamshell apart (held together with factory plastic clips). The biggest helpful thing you did for this install was the fact I ordered it on a Thursday and you got the part to me the next day. What a bonus! Thanks for everything.
