Each injector in your vehicle sits in the injector sleeve that is inserted into the injector bore within the cylinder head. This part does the job of sealing and protecting the area of the injector bore and separating the cooling system from the fuel system. If the injector sleeve fails and cracks, you'll commonly find fuel in the cooling system because the fuel system operates at higher pressure and the fuel gets pumped into the coolant.
