Gasoline and diesel fuel are both highly refined to meet fuel system quality and emissions standards. Unfortunately, by the time the fuel reaches your tank, its quality has drastically diminished. During storage and transportation, fuel degrades from attack by oxygen, ozone, and microorganisms that grow in fuel. This degraded fuel causes reduced engine efficiency, increased emissions, soot build-up, and deposits in engine oil and injectors.

alt The Fitch Fuel Catalyst re-refines fuel to its most optimal state, which enables your engine to operate more efficiently. With the catalyst your engine will make more power, get more miles per gallon, and produce fewer harmful emissions. The OEM In-Line Fuel Catalyst connects into the factory fuel system at the factory fuel line quick connect fittings. Everything required to install the catalyst unit comes with the kit, including mounting bracket, fuel line disconnect tool, and high pressure hose with male/female quick connect fittings.

The Fitch Catalyst is a Heterogeneous Metallic Alloy (HMAC) that transforms the molecular composition of fuel at ambient temperatures and pressures. It creates a cleaner burning fuel that produces higher energy yield with zero to ultra-low soot deposits. Besides improving engine efficiency, the Fitch Catalyst will reduce engine oil contamination, extending oil change intervals, and reducing maintenance costs. The Fitch is a true catalyst, a substance that causes a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent change. Unlike fuel additives, which are continually used up and must be added again, the Fitch Fuel Catalyst will never be used up, giving you reliable service for the life of your engine.

The manufacturer warrants that the installation of a Fitch Fuel Catalyst will not void the manufacturer's warranty or cause the emissions non-compliance of the engine on which it is installed for the life of the catalyst from the date of installation.

Fitch® Fuel Catalyst was founded by the late John C. Fitch, a famous race car driver and inventor of safety innovations for the highway and the race track. The company's objective is to commercialize innovations in transportation and energy efficiency. Fitch Fuel Catalyst manufactures the fuel treatment device of the same name, which reformulates and re-refines gasoline and diesel fuel. After treatment with the Fitch Fuel Catalyst, fuel is cleaner burning and higher in octane/cetane rating, for improved fuel economy, increased horsepower and torque, and reduced emissions. Unlike fuel additives, which must be continually replenished, the Fitch Fuel Catalyst will not dissolve or lose its potency during its life expectancy of 250,000 miles.

Completely Blown Away
Fitch® Fuel Catalyst F3824 - OEM In-Line Fuel Catalyst
I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this for my 2001 Buick LeSabre! I saw all the benefits from this product on CARiD so I thought well it's possible. I bought it and installed it. I did not notice any gains at all for months. Months went by and still nothing. About the 8th month after the install I started noticing a lot of white smoke coming from my tail pipe. I thought that was odd because it wasn't cold out and my car doesn't poor white smoke out of the tailpipe when it's warm out. The smoke would be more noticeable at first start up usually in the mornings. Then I started having problems with my transmission. It seems like the transmission was going bad because it was whinning shifting hard and that was odd because if a transmission was going bad you'll slowly notice it over time and not it one day like I did. A week went by and the transmission finally settled in to it's new realm. There were new dimensions to the engine that the computer had to pick up on as the catalyst was starting to work. I thought it's about time. The product says give your car ten operating hours before noticing anything. I went months and didn't see a thing but the whole time behind the scenes the fitch fuel catalyst was working behind the scenes. Amazing. My car sounds great. My engine hums like it's new. Every now and then I'll see the white smoke.

Fitch Fuel Catalyst
My Ford focus is rated at 24 city and 34 hwy, but with the Fitch I am getting a consistent 33 city. On a long distance drive up to Bear Lake I had 49.1 mpg. That drive was all up hill. I had 58.3 down hill. I did combine the fitch with the K&N air filter and the Tornado.

Very Pleased With Fitch Fuel Catalyst
After reading many positive reviews I purchased the fitch fuel catalyst. Installation was easy, it looks really nice in the engine compartment, and it works well with the other performance products I purchased. I am particularly happy with how I can use 89 octane fuel even though the tuner I purchased is set for 91 or higher octane.

Fitch Fuel Catalysts 2013 Nissan 2.5sv
Installing the fuel catalysts was simple and only took about 30min. Added torque and horsepower. Rpms stay about 300-500rpms lower than before. The power I had at 3,000rpms I now have at 2,500. Using 87octane averaging about 32.4mpg. Adding about 3mpg. Well worth the money and it will pay for itself in the long run.

It Works!
I was initially skeptical of the claims, but I bought one with hope. Was extremely easy to install (about 20 min). I drive a full size Chevy truck. If I keep my foot out of the throttle, on the highway, I see about a 3-mpg increase (not much in the city). When I put my foot in the throttle, there is a noticeable increase in power. Also, my idle has never been so smooth.

Very easy to install
Very easy to install on my Chevy after I find good position for mounting. After I installed the Fitch Fuel and I can feel my Engine idle smoother than before. Recommend!

Very Nice way to start saving fuel
I was looking for ways "How to save a Fuel". My "beast" love to eat and drink so much, I had to put him on a diet :) This Fitch Fuel Catalyst really works, I gave it a week to see how much fuel I was saving. And it was between 2 to 3 mpg. I installed it in the engine compartment driver's side radiator cover. You will need a special tool to remove the fuel clip and once your remove that, I just had to remove one screw on the top right side of the radiator and replaced it with a longer screw. Total install took about 25 min. I'm happy.

More Power
Had it a few weeks on my Jeep Wrangler 1995. Seemed to give a more power and smoother engine performance. Don't notice the fuel to go as quickly as before, need a month or so more to get the exact mileage, but sure seems to have improved.

Super!
I am a long time believer in Fitch. Been using the pellet type for years now. Read all the hype and one day just decided to order some and try it for myself. It works so well I have hundreds and hundreds of dollars of these things in use right now in all manner of fossil fuel burning items, although this is the first time I've ever ordered this canister type for a vehicle. I don't look at Fitch as a mileage thing. To me, it's simply a "best fuel you can possibly burn" kind of thing. I'm sure there's some extra mileage in there somewhere, but what I like is looking at the exhaust of all my stuff (lawn mowers, generator, snowmobiles, kerosene heaters, weed whackers, my truck, etc.) and seeing CLEAN mufflers and CLEAN burning kerosene heaters and CLEAN tailpipes, as well as CLEAN carburetors and CLEAN fuel injectors. Was talking with a good friend of mine a few years back about Fitch. I took him into my garage and showed him the business end of my kerosene space heater (the kind that looks like a jet engine). His exact words upon seeing my totally clean kerosene heater that I use as my sole source of heat in the garage during the winter was, and I quote, "Holy sh**!" :) Needless to say the man is a Fitch man, today. :) If the fuel is burning so much cleaner with Fitch than without it you just know you're squeezing every ounce of energy from whatever it is you're burning. :)
