Interlock shoulders to reduce the extent of wear from high torque and provide additional handling stability.

Internal Cooling Protection

Internal Cooling Protection
Heat diffuser technology in the lower sidewall aids in dissipating heat, therefore protecting the internal tire components for better vehicle stability even when carrying heavy loads or towing.

Class-Leading Tread Depth (LT Sizes)

Class-Leading Tread Depth (LT Sizes)
Provides long-lasting wear as well as consistent snow and hydroplane resistance throughout the life of the tire (*LT Sizes, 20/32nds inches).

Silica Tread Compound (Non-LT Sizes)

Silica Tread Compound (Non-LT Sizes)
Superior wet performance without compromising wear life.

Everyone who leaves the pavement for fun or work on a regular basis needs tires that can take on any challenge off-road, whether it is mud, rocks, slush - you name it. This is when off-road rubber is the best choice. But what if you split your time on and off road? It will wear out fast and generate lots of noise on the pavement. The Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tire may be a solution. It produces little to no noise on the roads and highways and offers excellent traction and durability where the pavement ends, in any weather. Falken AT3W tires feature lots of technology starting with 3D Canyon Sipes and ending with specifically designed lower sidewalls, all in order to provide strong all-round performance. Finally, they are rated with the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol by USTMA and TRAC, meaning they are certified for harsh winter conditions.

Falken Tire Corporation, based in Fontana California, is the corporate headquarters and West Coast distribution center for North American operations. Best All Around Tires
FALKEN® - WILDPEAK A/T3W
We put a set of these on after we had such terrible results from the BF Goodrich TA’s and they are great!!

Impressed With the Ride
FALKEN® - WILDPEAK A/T3W
Installed these on my Jeep. I’m really impressed with superb handling and quiet ride they provide on the road despite their aggressive tread. Besides, these work well off-road. Once, I drove on the muddy road after heavy rain. Had no issues with handling or braking. I have not had them in snow, so cannot say whether they deserve the snowflake symbol or not.

I frequently drive muddy roads and need some reliable rubber that can get me over all that mess. I researched for a while to find the best tires for my needs. Mudders were not a choice because I didn’t want too much noise on the road. So finally, I chose these tires based on feedback from guys from different forums. Well, no regrets. I’ve run over 20,000 miles on them and can say that they do work great in mud and aren’t too noisy on the road. Time will show how long they will last. Now, there is still lots of tread.

Awesome Tires for the Money
FALKEN® - WILDPEAK A/T3W
I live on a dirt road and these are great in all weather. I have not heard any rattling sounds coming from them at highway speed. Put a lot of miles on them and they still look good.

Good Off-Road Performance
FALKEN® - WILDPEAK A/T3W
I’m not purely a city guy driving on local streets. I push my tires hard off-road almost every week. Falkens work great each time. These are pretty soft, so they provide a smooth ride on the road without any rattling sounds. Now, I have 24k on em and they still have a lot of tread left. I love these enough to get them again when I need replacements.

Great Looks & Performance
FALKEN® - WILDPEAK A/T3W
I put these on my Tundra about two months ago. For now, I can admit that they are not louder than stocks and perform well on wet and dry roads. Besides, they look awesome! Haven’t tested them off-road yet, so can say nothing about their performance in sand, mud, rocks, or anything like this.

First Impressions
FALKEN® - WILDPEAK A/T3W
I heard a lot of good things about at3w from my friends who have run these for several years. So, when it was time to replace stocks on my Ram, I gave these a try. I don’t drive off the pavement very often and actually, am not gonna do it. But I’m a Coloradian and need tires which are ready for rain, snow, and everything in between. So, I’ve run the at3w for about a month. First of all, they look awesome on my truck. On the road, they are surprisingly quiet, especially at high speeds. Wet performance is great. And I go over bumps like a champ.

Good Choice
FALKEN® - WILDPEAK A/T3W
I’ve had them on my Outback for a year and am approaching 20,000 miles on them. I have rotated them four times already. Well, there is still lots of tread on them, so I hope to get another 20K miles from this set without any issues. Actually, they are good tires. Stick to wet and snow roads like a real tire should and are not very noisy.

Best AT Tires
FALKEN® - WILDPEAK A/T3W
This is my second and certainly not last set. Previous set lasted about 50,000 miles, a good result considering my truck sees gravel roads very often. Mud, slush, snow, and rain, they take it all easily.

2018 Tundra 5.7l
FALKEN® - WILDPEAK A/T3W
Amazing tires!! E load rating. I am running them at about 37psi and getting about 13mpg locally. That's with a road armor bumper in front and a fabs four bumper in the rear! The tires can go up to 80psi. I May run them to 40psi and see how that rides.

Question:
How Good Are Falken Wildpeak AT3W Tires in Snow?
Posted by Customer / December 06, 20222016 Toyota Tundra
CARiD Answer:
Hello, Falken rates this tire as a 4.5 out of 5 for winter performance.
Posted by CARiD Expert / December 06, 2022
CARiD Answer:
They work very well in light and unpacked snow. The A/T3W features aggressive tread pattern design to bite into snow for ultimate grip and traction, therefore lending you the confidence that is needed when navigating snow-covered roads. However, the performance on packed snow and ice is not as brilliant as you can expect from snow-dedicated rubber, but A/T3Ws remain controllable and perform much better than most other all-terrain tires.

Question:
What Does AT3W Mean?
Posted by Customer / December 07, 2022
CARiD Answer:
The A/T stands for All-Terrain, meaning this tire is engineered to perform on different terrains equally well. 3W means three areas where this rubber stands out from its competitors, namely Wear, Wet, and Winter. Considering the above, the Falken A/T3W is expected to perform well on wet surfaces, provide good traction in harsh winter conditions, and have lasting tread life.

Posted by Customer / December 07, 20222018 Chevy Silverado 2500
CARiD Answer:
The manufacturer backs A/T3W tires with a 55,000-mile treadwear warranty that is great for the category. Surely, they can last much longer if you rotate them on a regular basis and don't drive over challenging terrains frequently. Some drivers claim that they've got over 70,000 miles from them.

Question:
Just had a rear left tire blow when on Florida's Turnpike. The whole tire came loose from the rim. There's just a rim with a little bit of tire still attached to the rim about 2 inches. The rest was detached. The tire was still there but was riding on the rim till I could get off the road. Pretty scary. 4 tires have 29900 miles on them. I bought a Subaru for the safety rating. I see they are made in China... Gail Whitney
