Remove Stubborn Contaminants
Because they're so close to the road, wheels tend to take the brunt of the mess caused by kicked up contaminants. They also get covered with break dust relatively quickly. These contaminants aren't exactly easy to get off, either - you'll need some powerful chemicals and a lot of elbow grease. That is unless you've got Matte Wheel Cleanser. Included in the Matte Wheel Cleaning Kit, it clings to stubborn gunk using its non-dripping, thickening formula, breaking down contaminants at the chemical level. Just use the included brush to dig them out, then wipe off with your microfiber towel. Your wheels will be back to new in a matter of minutes!
Protect Your Wheels
Getting your wheels clean is great, but that won't stop them from getting pitted, etched or stained. If you've ever seen a wheel get rusted, then you know it's not a pretty sight to say the least. That's why the Matte Wheel Cleaning Kit comes with Matte Wheel Seal as well - it provides a protective barrier that will resist the oxidization that causes pitting and rusting, while also shielding against etching or staining from everyday contaminants. Matte Wheel Seal captures break dust, too - just rinse off the coating and it'll slide off with it. Reapply and you're covered again!
Won't Change Matte Look
Matte paint gets its flat look from its surface's microscopic hills and valleys that scatter light reflected off them. Unfortunately, most cleaners and coatings have silicones or glossing agents that fill in these inconsistencies, resulting in a sickly shine. To keep your matte's muted sheen, you'll need products formulated without silicones - products like the ones included in the Matte Wheel Cleaning Kit. Whether you want to preserve your wheels' matte or you're concerned about glossing nearby matte trim, you can be sure the Matte Wheel Cleaning Kit won't alter your matte's look.
How Does It Work?
When applied to a soiled wheel, Matte Wheel Cleanser clings to the contaminants, breaking them down chemically. You can then remove the contaminants with the included brush and microfiber towel. Matte Wheel Seal will then, when applied, form a protective coating after several minutes of curing. From there, when you'd like to cleanse your wheels of contaminants, simply clean them during your normal wash and the soilage will come off with the coating. Reapply to regain protection.
Application Instructions
Matte Wheel Cleanser
1. Shake bottle to reduce separation.
2. Rinse wheel from bottom to top before applying to prevent drip marks.
3. Spray product onto wheel.
4. Let sit for a few minutes, then brush and wipe clean.
5. Rinse wheels again then dry with a clean cloth.
6. Repeat if necessary.
Matte Wheel Seal
1. Before applying, ensure wheel is fully clean and dry.
2. Using one of the included microfiber towel, apply Matte Wheel Seal.
3. Allow coating to cure for several minutes. 4. Use 2nd microfiber towel to hand buff for maximum protection.
