To provide progressive yet high-strength cushioning, each bump stop comes with 3 blue (soft) and 3 black (firm) insert pieces made from patented EVS microcellular foam. Customize firmness to your preference by mixing the pieces or by using as few as one single insert piece in each bump stop. Kits are also available for easy rebuilding when needed. Daystar Stinger Bump Stops are simply one of the best suspension components you can equip your 4x4 with. Instead of being filled with nitrogen, each bump stop features durable EVS microcellular foam cushioning pads. They provide the high resilience needed in demanding conditions, and they offer civilized ride quality during on-road driving. And unlike nitrogen bump stops, they will function without leaking or degrading in extreme temperatures. Included with each bump stop are three blue foam pieces designed with more progressive give if you prefer a softer level of cushioning. Also included are three black dense foam pieces designed with firmer, less progressive cushioning when you prefer to keep things harder for stability. Each bump stop assembly can carry between one and three EVS foam inserts, allowing you to mix or match the colored pieces to create a perfectly tailored level of ride crispness.
Blue and black bump stop cushion pieces are made with Daystar’s patented EVS microcellular foam. Specially developed to provide the cushioning properties of foam, this material is resistant to extreme temperatures, oil-based contaminants, and a host of other pollutants that cause traditional rubber and foam to dry up, crack, and crumble over time. The cushion pieces come in one universal size – simply install them in the bottom of the bump stop assembly to suit your preference.
