1. Remove one front wheel and one rear wheel from your vehicle using the appropriate tools.
2. Inspect the wheel-mounting surface for rust, corrosion, hub rings, spacers, clips, weights, rivets or any other obstructions that may stop the wheel from being installed parallel to the wheel hub.
3. Test fit the wheels to avoid mistakes. Before installing tires on them, match each wheel to its final position on your vehicle, making sure that the wheel on the front and the rear correctly matches the lug pattern. It’s highly important to ensure that the wheel has enough clearance from the steering, suspension, brakes, drive components, and the fenders/body. If the installer fails to test fit wheels, this will void the warranty.
1. Take caution when installing tires on wheels. An appropriate tire and wheel lubricant must be used to ensure that the tire and wheel bead sit on the wheel correctly.
2. When matching wheel and tire size, follow the recommendations for rim width and diameter provided by the tire manufacturer. Never inflate your tires to a higher pressure than stated by the tire manufacturer.
3. Damage to the wheel due to improper installation won’t be covered under the wheel warranty.
1. Put the tire and wheel assembly onto the hub of your vehicle. In case that the wheel has multiple PCD’s drilled (bolt patterns), make sure that you’ve chosen the correct PCD before you secure the wheel to the vehicle.
2. Use an appropriate hand tool to install lug nuts/bolts in a crisscross pattern. We recommend to use a hand wrench to confirm that uniform force is applied to the wheel and the wheel lays parallel to the vehicle hub. Do not use an impact wrench for wheel installation because it can damage the lugs or the studs.
3. Tighten the lug nuts/lug bolts with a hand torque wrench according to the vehicle manufacturer specifications, which you will find in your vehicle owner’s handbook or the vehicle’s tire information placard.
4. To ensure that the tire/wheel assembly has proper clearance, rotate the tire and wheel assembly 360 degrees and turn the steering wheels to the right and the left before lifting the vehicle and with the vehicle on the ground.
5. Remember that it’s your responsibility to make sure that the wheel is properly secured to the vehicle, otherwise there’s a potential risk of damage to the wheel, your vehicle and/or getting injured, and this will void the wheel warranty.
