Warranty

All body kits and products sold by Carbon Creations are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only. The brand is not liable for any damages or injury as a result of the use of its products. Due to the material and processes used in production, products will not be a “direct bolt-on.” Carbon Creations products may need prepping, sanding, shaving, filling gaps, and/or other body work. Modifications may include removal of the reinforcement bars, bumpers, turn signals, and other safety equipment on the vehicle. Carbon Creations highly recommends that a professional “custom” shop with fiberglass body kit experience perform the installation. Auto shops experienced in OEM installations may not be experienced in aftermarket fiberglass installations. All products sold by Carbon Creations are for off-road and show purposes only. Due to strict regulations by the Department of Transportation, some of these products are not approved for street/highway use. The brand does not recommend, and in fact discourages, these parts to be used on public streets and highways.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Carbon Creations warrants its branded products to be free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials when used for their intended purposes. This limited warranty shall extend for a period of one (1) year against fading and discoloration on the clear coat finish. This warranty is non-transferable. Any part of a Carbon Creations product that is covered by this warranty and that is found in reasonable judgment to be defective in materials or workmanship will be replaced in full at the request of the customer. For example, Carbon Creations will not replace a complete body kit if a single component is found to be defective. The following situations are not covered by warranty: Any Carbon Creations product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident; or that has been improperly installed. Any Carbon Creations product that has been modified or altered from its original manufactured state.

Hood and Trunk Fitment Guarantee

Carbon Creations stands behind the fitment of its products. Once your hood is installed, Carbon Creations will fully replace your hood if it does not fall within the following guidelines of the brand’s Fitment Guarantee. Hood does not clear a stock engine. Gaps between the hood and the fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Hood levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the fenders Latch is too long or too short compared to the stock latch, causing the hood not to latch after adjusting. Carbon Creations does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have had body damages or customization. Hood pins are required.

Trunks

Gaps between the trunk and the rear fenders are more than 1/2″ wide on each side. Trunk levels more than 3/8″ higher or lower than the rear fenders. Carbon Creations does not guarantee fitment on vehicles that have been involved in accidents and/or have had body damages or customization.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More

Poor Quality

Carbon Creations® - Viper Style DriTech Carbon Fiber Hood

Most aftermarket "Carbon Fiber" hoods are made mostly from Fiberglass with a thin single layer exterior C.F. skin. This hood is no different. The hood is made from 2 skins, Bottom and Top. The 2 skins are poorly glued together with big blobs of epoxy. The bottom skin is poorly cut out to allow the vents to show through. The meshes are also cut out extremely rough with excessive mesh material sticking out the edges of the vent opening. Lastly, the top skin seams very thin. However, the overall design/shape is very good! and from a glance it, everything looks perfect. But unfortunately im having second thoughts on actually installing it as im afraid it may not last. I may have a body shop properly join the 2 skins and stiffen up the hood.

Don't Waste Your Money

Carbon Creations® - AM-S Style DriTech Carbon Fiber Hood

For the price this hood is garbage. Looks good from a distance, but up close I lost count of all the imperfections. Heard plenty of bad reviews about carbon creations products, should of listened to the talk. One of the mesh inserts wasn't even completely painted. Hood latch is shallow, clear coat is trashy in many places, list goes on and on. Pay the extra for another brand, trust me.

Carbon Creations® 113116 - Viper Style DriTech Carbon Fiber Hood

Looks decent. However for $1200 this must be a joke. Literally a single layer of carbon fiber on top with maybe 2 layers of fiber glass underneath, if that! Very flimsy and arrived busted/cracked in center of hood scoop. Look for $300 I could make my own hood with 2 top layers of carbon fiber and 3 or more fiber glass bottom layers provided I had the mold of the hood. And they're charging 1200 on sale!! That's California for ya!! I should probably just cancel before they send the replacement.

Well.

Carbon Creations® 113144 - RS-1 Style DriTech Carbon Fiber Hood

The product was excellent out of the box. I had to make a few adjustments and then it fit perfectly. A week into having it, and only driving the car 2-3 times, the weave and clear coat on front of the hood began to crack. That’s disappointing. The weight is phenomenal, the original look is phenomenal, but the quality is questionable.

So Freaking Light!

Product arrived with some scuffs on it. Came ready to install. A bit more gap between panels than I'd like but overall very happy. I can finesse the fine details. Totally worth it. Already getting better MPG. Changes everything. A bit more fun to drive.

350Z DriTech TS-2 Carbon Fiber Hood

Carbon Creations® 112957 - TS-2 Style DriTech Carbon Fiber Hood

I love the design and stance of the hood, but I have a couple problems with it. The latch that hooks the hood is too skinny compared to the original one. The hood keeps on jiggling up and down. In order to make the hood close further down I had to remove the vent covers under the hood in order to have a better closing gap. Towards the center of the hood along the sides of the lights of the hood pops up too much, instead of coming down. The clear coat or epoxy coating used for the hood is not strong enough. Its only been on for 2 weeks since I got the hood and after washing it, I started noticing a dull spot in the center of the hood that looks like the clear came off. A lot of swirls and scratches already. I was just hoping this would start happening if anything towards a couple months not the first couple weeks.
