2. How are Bumpershellz™ different from the other options?

The other options to customize the look of your truck's bumper include vinyl bumper wraps, paint (DIY or paint shop), large plastic fascias, and aftermarket bumpers. The Bumper Shells combine the best aspects of the different options. They combine the quality and durability of vinyl, the ease of paint, and the look of a new bumper with none of the drawbacks. Bumpershellz™ cover dings, dents, and rust for old bumpers and protect new bumpers from future dents and dings. The optional Briteshellz™ also gives you the ability to back-light custom images, logos, or messages on your bumper; a look that you can't get with any other options.

3. Do I have to drill holes into my vehicle?

No, Bumpershellz™ easily attach to your truck bumper in minutes without the need for any modification to your bumper!

4. Is installation of the Bumpershellz™ easy?

Absolutely. The specially designed flanged edges of the shell simply tuck under your existing step pad and other bumper trim pieces. Additional adhesion is provided by high-strength acrylic foam tape in areas where it is needed.

5. What is the warranty on these products?

Bumpershellz products are guaranteed to be free of manufacturer’s defects and to perform as advertised when properly installed and used as intended. If a defect is found, the product may be returned within 30 days of receiving your order. Upon verifying the product has a manufacturer’s defect, you will have the option of receiving a replacement product or a refund. Bumpershellz is not responsible for product defects which are caused by improper use, neglect, abuse, improper installation, accidents, or other uses not described in the product literature. Bumpershellz is not liable or responsible for the customer’s costs associated with improper use, neglect, abuse, improper installation, accidents, or other uses not described in the product literature. Furthermore, Bumpershellz is not responsible or liable for personal property which is stored in or which interacts with Bumpershellz products.

6. How do I take care of my BumperShellz?

Your BumperShellz are molded from a high impact-resistant ABS plastic, which has been pre-laminated with the highest quality paint film (colors/patterns) or directly printed on the ABS sheet (camouflage patterns). A UV- and scratch-resistant clear coat is then applied to further enhance the durability of the finish. All of these layers are fused together during the heat/forming process, further enhancing the durability. You should care for your BumperShellz like you would for any fine paint finish. Use high-quality products designed specifically for car care.

- Gloss finishes: Often, minor scratches can be buffed out on the gloss finishes. Rubbing compounds can be used with a mechanical buffer, for deeper scratches.

- Matte finishes are much more susceptible to abrasions which are generally permanent and leave a "glossy sheen" on the finish. Do not attempt to buff out scratches/abrasions on your matte finish, as this will generally make the damage worse. Attempting to fix even a small scratch can start to change the surface qualities of a matte finish, making for an inconsistent appearance. Avoid excessive friction when trying to remove anything stuck to the matte finish surface and keep cleaning rags/water clean and abrasive free.
