The Buick Estate wagon first appeared in 1940’s and featured those old-school wood panels decorating its boat-like body all the way around. They came powered by Buick’s 455 and 350 V8 engines, but later on it came equipped with a toned-down 307. In late 1980’s only the Electra Estate station wagon remained and in its last year, in 1990, it was simply called the Estate Wagon.
