Stainless Steel Pipes by Borla®. Replaces stock catalytic converter; for off-road use only. Long-lasting 304 austenitic stainless steel. Mandrel-bent pipe for low restriction, maximum flow and power.
- Improved exhaust flow from reduced back pressure
- Long-lasting 304 stainless tubing
- Replaces expensive factory catalytic converter
- Off-road or racing use only
These low-restriction front pipes will replace your heavy factory catalytic converter with a smooth, lightweight piece of 304-stainless tubing. Because they replace the cat, they are not legal for use on public roads.
Borla manufactures these exhaust components in its own factory in the USA. Mandrel-bent on CNC-controlled benders, they are guaranteed to the original user on the original vehicle for one million miles of service. High-quality 304 austenitic stainless steel is used throughout, so your Borla exhaust system will never corrode or rust. Other manufacturers, including the car manufacturers fabricate so-called stainless exhaust systems out of less-expensive 400-series steel. Although 400-series steel is superior to ordinary aluminized mild steel, it can still develop ugly surface corrosion and eventually deteriorate. Professional installation is recommended, because of the necessity of working underneath the vehicle.
