The Bentley T2 is the second and last model in the T-Series, which was manufactured from 1977 to 1980. It was a four-door luxury sedan powered by the same V8 engine which was also installed in the T1; however, the T2 boasted of improved handling thanks to the rack-and-pinion steering system. The vehicle could reach impressive speed of nearly 120 mph and accelerate from zero to sixty mph in 11 seconds approximately. Other major improvements over its predecessor included the disc brakes on all wheels, upgraded automatic transmission, split-level air-conditioning, and front power seats.
A tremendous amount of heat generated by the internal combustion process is partly utilized by the heating system to warm up the passenger compartment. Hot coolant from the engine is delivered to the heater core and warms the air in the cabin with the help of the blower. The A/C system is more complex and employs refrigerant which undergoes the processes of evaporation, condensation, compression, and expansion to absorb heat in a cabin and deliver there cool air.
