Big Hoss™ Tuner by Banks®. Level 1: up to +45 hp & +79 lb-ft. Level 2: up to +60 hp & +111 lb-ft. Level 3: up to +85 hp & +151 lb-ft. Level 4: up to +100 hp & +215 lb-ft (Levels 1-4: emissions compliant). Level 5: up to +120 hp & +233 lb-ft (Non-street, high-performance use only). Order up your Big Hoss module with one of five tunes programmed into it. With the appropriate airflow mods, like an exhaust system and cold-air intake system, you can see as much as 120 hp and 233 lb.-ft. from your 7.3 L Ford Powerstroke. The Big Hoss retunes both the pulse width and the timing of the injection system to give you plenty of extra, smoke-free power That means better towing and hauling.

Piggybacked onto the engine computer of your Ford pickup, the Big Hoss changes the injector pulse width according to Banks tuning algorithm, adding fuel when the engine can handle it for extra power. How much is determined when you order the Big Hoss, although it can easily be reprogrammed at a Banks dealer or at Banks’ facility in California. Choose from one of five tunes calculated to gradually improve your towing and hauling capabilities. Unlike other tuners, the Big Hoss also subtly changes the timing of the injection pulses, guaranteeing a bump in power that doesn’t result in thick black smoke following you along the road. Return your truck to the factory tune by simply removing the Big Hoss.(Probably a good idea before you go back to the dealer for warranty work.)
