Remaster™ Brake Master Cylinder (6801262LP) by Baer®. Baer is expanding its line of performance brake products with the introduction of the Remaster™: a fully machined billet aluminum master cylinder unlike any other available today. Baer engineered the Remaster with a compact design to make fitment easier in a variety of applications.

Features
- Fully Machined out of aluminum in Phoenix AZ
- Compact short design which allows this master to fit in a wide variety of applications (great for early Mustangs with modern boosters such as 1967-1969)
- GM and Ford will use the same master (Firewall mount is designed to fit both). Will include a bullet (insert adapter) for long pushrod applications
- Machined screw in caps for easy access to fill (no tools needed). Caps are knurled at edge to make removal easy
- Bolt on Firewall mount bracket. This master can be reused in other projects with a change of the bolt on bracket
- For early Fords product dimensions are correct but should be checked as they may have been changed over time
- For Fox/SN95 (79-04 Mustang) the booster pushrod is 0.950" so it would need to be adjusted out 0.040"
- The booster pushrods on these Bendix units are adjustable
- The clearance betweeen the pushrod and Remaster piston should be 0.000"-0.005". Too little and the brakes may drag, too mych and the pedal will have excessive travel

Baer is renowned for its performance braking systems, and the company applied the same engineering expertise to the Remaster. The engineering team started with a blank sheet of paper to develop a master cylinder that would solve fitment and performance issues faced by builders of street-driven performance cars and race vehicles alike. An integrated mount for a Baer billet adjustable proportioning valve is machined into the bottom of the master cylinder. The Remaster also features unique screw-on billet caps, making checking and adding fluid easier and cleaner, as well as ensuring that every part of the new master cylinder is of ultimate quality. The Remaster was designed, developed, machined and assembled in-house in Phoenix. The Remaster is a direct-replacement for other master cylinders, and is available with Ford, GM and Mopar bolt patterns. All installation require proper safety procedurt and protective eyewear. All installations assume basic mechanical skill and a factory service manual for the vehicle on which the installation is to be performance. Pushrod depth (from mounting surface to bottom of piston) is 0.990".
All Remasters have the ability to bolt a proportioning valve block to the bottom of the Master Cylinder. This will allow current Baer prop valve owners to adapt their proportioning valve to the new Remaster.
