A well-designed bug deflector hood shield protects your vehicle in two ways: First, it shields the leading edge of your hood and fenders from stones and other debris borne by the wind or thrown up by other vehicles, keeping your hood and fenders free of dings, dents and chipped paint. Second, the lip of the shield redirects airflow enough to propel bugs and debris up and over your vehicle, instead of crashing and splattering into your windshield, preserving and maintaining your visibility and keeping your windshield free of chips and scratches. The Bugflector Deluxe Hood Shield's high profile and 3-piece design makes it the most effective shield you can buy because it excels at both tasks.

The Bugflector Deluxe's aerodynamic design will provide maximum protection and will perfectly complement your truck, van, SUV, or crossover vehicle's appearance. The Bugflector Deluxe is custom designed to perfectly match the contours of your hood and front fenders and be aerodynamically efficient. It's made of rugged impact modified acrylic which is virtually indestructible, so you'll get many years of protection, and installs simply and quickly with 3M double-sided tape and/or mechanical fasteners, depending on application. Once installed, you'll find that the included rubber bumpers will keep the shield from contacting the body, to protect the paint finish, and the off-the-hood design enables you to keep your vehicle clean and waxed easily.

The Bugflector Deluxe comes with everything required for installation, including hardware and detailed instructions, and it's covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to the original purchaser as long as he or she owns the vehicle on which the product is installed.

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint and painting on all Lund International, Inc.'s Lund International, AVS®, Lund®, Nifty® and Deflecta-Shield® Accessories branded products properly installed per provided instructions except those listed below under the One-Year Warranty, Two-Year Warranty or Three-Year Warranty. This warranty does not apply to any product from Lund International's direct or indirect subsidiaries. For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last as long as the original retail purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product is installed. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

Limited One-Year Warranty

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship on all Pro-Line® branded replacement carpets - Challenger™, Ultima™ and Contender™ branded storage boxes - All Cargo Management products except the Folding Aluminum Ramp, Folding Aluminum Arched Ramp, Bi Fold Ramps and Tri-Fold Ramps properly installed per provided instructions. For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last two years from the date of purchase. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

Limited Three-Year Warranty

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint and painting on the Stainless Interceptor™, Folding Aluminum Ramp, Factory Color Match Wind Deflectors, Folding Aluminum Arched Ramp, Bi-Fold Ramps and Tri-Fold Ramps properly installed per provided instructions. For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last three years from the date of purchase. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

AVS Chrome Hood Shield

AVS® 680433 - Chrome Hood Shield

This is the second of four products I ordered from CAR-iD. This product arrived early and was very easy to install. I wanted to change the look of my Red Dodge Ram. I had the smoke style of the Hood Shield. I am adding or changing to the Chrome look. This Hood Shield looks great!
