It's a great irony of vehicle ownership that while we're proud of our car's style, and want to show it off by washing and waxing it until it's gleaming, we can hardly see the outside of it while driving down the road. Instead, from behind the wheel, we've got hands and feet on all the various controls. In addition to the obvious ones (steering wheel and pedals), there are the buttons and knobs for the windows, side view mirrors, sound system, climate control, and so on. Over time, these items are subject to as much wear-and-tear as any other part. Sooner or later they will begin to look tattered, or stop functioning all together.
When it's time for the inevitable, you'll want to visit the Interior Parts section of our website. There, you'll find replacement parts for electrical switchgear and climate control units which no longer function due to age, spilled liquids, or other damage. We also offer interior trim pieces such as knobs, pedals, cup holders, ashtrays, and radio/console surround parts. Because each component is designed for your specific make and model vehicle, it will be a perfect, OEM-quality fit and will restore full functionality.
We sell a great deal of these components to independent shops that work on European, Asian, and American cars because they have confidence in the brand names we offer. In fact, odds are if you took your vehicle to any shop other than a dealer for this type of repair, they would source the parts from the same manufacturers you'll see on these pages. And if you're looking to dress up your interior in creative ways that the next guy won't have, we've got stylish parking brake handles and covers for accelerator, brake, and clutch pedals.
We’ve got replacement door lock switches, various interior light switches, cigarette lighter components, and window switches from Dorman, Standard, Restoparts (classic GM), and Genuine. These match the exact appearance of your factory ones and plug in to existing wiring harnesses quickly and easily. Browsing through our Interior Parts section, you’ll also find other switchgear for 4-wheel-drive activation, multi-function turn signal stalks, and more.
We’ve even got a variety of pushbutton and toggle switches designed for add-on accessories you may be installing in your vehicle.
Climate Control Units
If the electronics in your dashboard-mounted climate control have gone bad and you must replace the whole unit, you're looking at an expensive repair at a dealership. Whether you've got an older vehicle with sliding levers or a more modern one with digital displays and computer controls, we've got replacement switches and faceplates for climate control systems that are faithful reproductions of OEM equipment - without the immense dealer price markup.
Stereo Dash Kits
You may find a need to replace the plastic trim pieces around your car stereo for one of two reasons: first, the existing parts may have cracked, faded, or are grubby beyond salvage. The second possible reason is that you are upgrading the audio system and need new parts to accommodate a different sized radio. The console pieces that surround your radio are known as "stereo dash kits".
In either case, you may encounter some unfamiliar terms when looking at stereo dash kits. A "single DIN" radio opening is one that is 2" high by 7" wide. A "double DIN" radio opening is 4" high by 7" wide, so it's twice as tall as the single DIN but the same width.
If your vehicle has a single-DIN radio now but you'll be upgrading to a double-DIN unit in the future, Single/Double DIN Stereo Dash Kits by Metra and Scosche each provide a hole big enough to fit a double-DIN radio. If you need to fit a single-DIN radio, just install included pocket pieces to fill the extra gap space with usable storage. On the Scosche combo dash kit, the pocket piece is not included, but sold individually. When you sell your vehicle and want to put the original radio back in, the pocket piece allows easy conversion back to single-DIN.
If you've got a single-DIN radio and prefer to match the look of original equipment, Single DIN Dash Kits are available from Metra, Scosche, and American International. If you've got a Toyota, Scion, or Infiniti, Beat-Sonic's Single DIN Dash Kit is specifically designed for certain models of those brands.
Pedals & Pedal Covers
Because the cover pads on your vehicle’s foot pedals wear down over time, we offer replacement brake pedal pads, accelerator pedal pads, clutch pedal pads, and parking brake pedal pads to spruce up worn-looking, dirty original ones. Not only will new foot pads create a well-maintained, gently-driven aura for your vehicle, their fresh and deep grooves will increase foot grip (and safety) when your shoes are wet.
And if, for any reason, you need to replace an entire pedal assembly for your accelerator, brake, or clutch pedal, we’ve also got replacement pedal assemblies. You’ll find all rubber, steel, and spring pressure components are made to the same tolerances as OEM equipment – so they’ll fit tight and feel right.
We’ve also got what you need to refurbish your vehicle’s center console area. For starters, if you've got a broken center console lid or latch, you can make things whole again with our selection of console lids. In this section, you’ll find lids, hinges, and related hardware.
If your center console assembly has become scratched, gouged, or cracked, we’ve got quality replacement center consoles for vehicles old and new - at a price that won’t break your wallet. While you’re at it, don’t forget to address any sun visors, cupholders and glove box doors that have become old and wobbly. Should you need any glove box bins or related hardware, we’ve got those too. We’ve even got sunglass holders!
As you're making your decisions on purchasing any of these products in our Interior Parts section, be sure to check the "Product Options" field for each specific item. In some cases, you'll find more products for sale that wouldn't be seen otherwise. You may also find a choice of colors and styles, as well as variations on factory design choices.
Whether your ride is just outside its warranty period, or is a 40-year-old driving restoration project, we have the interior switches, knobs, buttons, controls, and interior trim pieces to keep you in full functionality as you motor down the road.
