Air to Coil Spring Conversion Kit by Arnott®. Replace worn and aged air suspension springs that are no longer reliable with simple, worry-free metal coil springs. Coil springs feature a variable spring rate that provides a softer, more comfortable ride that progresses to a firmer ride during aggressive driving or when vehicle load increases. Traditional gas shock absorbers that match OE specifications are included, and all parts are designed to bolt right on to your vehicle without modifications. Black powder coat finish resists chips and corrosion.

Features

  • Set coil springs and shock absorbers designed to bolt directly in place of existing air springs with no modifications necessary to your vehicle
  • Eliminate worry of failing air suspension parts which can leave you stranded with extremely costly repair bills
  • Black powder coat provides durable finish that is resistant to chips, corrosion, and paint flaking
  • Coil springs feature a variable spring rate that provides a softer, more comfortable ride that progresses to a firmer ride during aggressive driving or when vehicle load increases
  • Manufactured in the United States
  • Arnott offers a limited lifetime warranty for all products

If you prefer the simplicity and maintenance-free nature of traditional metal coil springs and shock absorbers, Arnott offers conversion kits that let you remove your vehicle’s air springs and deactivate the rest of the system. Coil springs and shock absorbers are designed specifically for your make and model, and they are designed to bolt on right to the existing mounting points that your air springs formerly used. While you may lose some of the adaptability air suspension systems provide, Arnott’s coil springs feature a variable spring rate that provides a softer, more comfortable ride that progresses to a firmer ride under load - all completely without the help of complex electronics, motors, and pressurized air parts. Based on the design of your vehicle, your kit may include rubber spring pads or shims.

Founded in Florida in 1989, Arnott® began with self-taught knowledge of air springs by a father and son team who performed repairs on air suspension systems on vehicles so equipped across their home state of Florida. Word of the Arnott’s mechanical expertise on air springs spread to a growing customer base eager to hire them, inspiring them to design and produce their own equipment, beginning in 1994. Since then, Arnott has continued to specialize in high quality components for air suspension components only, and faithfully builds all parts they sell to equal or greater levels of quality and durability than manufacturers do – matching or improving on the materials, design, and thickness of seals to name just a few things. Cost savings and great values come not from cheaper construction, lack of product testing, or cut-rate labor from questionable locations, but from the absence of markup that new car dealers and manufacturers subject customers to. Arnott proudly manufacturers and re-manufactures air springs and other suspension kits in the United States.

After all reviews and research I did decide to replace my air suspension to coil Suspension. I think I did good decision. As I'm just coming from air suspension to coil suspension, there are slight changes I feel when I am in the rough road, but doesn't feel any changes in the smooth road. Visual height of the vehicle is excellent. Arnott coil spring suspension I feel strong and worry free. No more replacing air suspension compressor. Working on air suspension is tons of money. Arnott coil suspension I would recommend others to buy.

Great installation instructions. Great ride, looks good, could never tell it’s not stock. Gives it a little rakes look.

Springs look exactly like the picture shown, very easy install instructions, they fit perfect and ride great, the bypass module was super easy to hook up,instructions were easy to understand, and no more suspension service warning on my dash. For the price I would have liked some shocks in the kit.

Initially I called CARiD and talked to a sales advisor about what could replace the air shocks on my wife’s Escalade. I was told the Arnott 2835 kit would work. After I had it installed, the ride was even worse and my wife threatened to sell the car if it was going to ride this bad. I then called Arnott and talked to them directly. I was told immediately that the 2835 set was not remotely intended for my Escalade and I needed the 3184 kit. CARiD has told me they’d accept the used kit back for exchange since Arnott said they’d take it back. But I’m also out another $700 in labor for having the 2735 set installed incorrectly the first time. Hopefully CARiD will refund that money as well. My wife is happy with the 3184 set and it rides good. Maybe not quite as good as the original air shocks but it’s a cheaper alternative for the long run. Just make sure you get the 3184 kit and not the 2835 kit.

Purchased these shocks to avoid costly repair of air shocks for 2009 Escalade. Purchase and shipment were great. However, wife says truck is still very bouncy and we may have to eat this purchase and go back to air shocks to get a stable ride. Not sure why these shocks are such a poor ride but they sure weren’t as good as we expected them to be. Wish I had not tried this alternative.

Product looks great. Just followed the directions to install. Having the bypass module was great so that I did not have to stare at a warning light.
