Compared to the standard power unit of the V60, this engine employs new camshafts, conrods, larger turbo and air intake, and a higher capacity fuel pump. It is directed through an 8-speed automatic. The base engine for the 2018 Volvo V60 is a turbocharged 2.0 L I4 that develops 240 hp, connected to the same gearbox. After Thed Bjork won FIA World Touring Car Championship, the company presented the 2018 Volvo V60 Polestar Performance World Championship Edition. The car comes equipped with a wide range of Polestar performance components, such as a spoiler and diffuser, 19-inch alloy wheels with performance tires, improved suspension, upgraded air filter, stainless steel exhaust system, and so on. Apart from styling modifications, the new edition comes with extra 10 horsepower.
