Great Option for EVs to Carry Bikes
CURT® 11457 - Class 1 Square Trailer Hitch with 1-1/4" Receiver Opening (W/O Insert, 2000/200 Weight Capacity)
I added this to a Chevy Bolt EV with just 150 miles on it. The installation is easy, and I think could be even easier if you disregard the instruction to disconnect the rear bumper electrical connector. The cutting template for the bumper fascia is also a little larger than necessary, so you could take your time and carve out a smaller window in the fascia if you like. My plan is to use this exclusively for hitch mounted bike racks, and it appears to be well suited for that job.
