    K&N Oil Filters

Kia Magentis 2010, Premium Wrench-Off Oil Filter by K&N®. Never wrestle with a stuck oil filter again. The Wrench-Off Canister Oil Filter can be easily removed with a socket or wrench.

    • 1-in. nut welded to canister to facilitate removal
    • Thicker canister walls for strength and durability
    • Withstands higher oil pressures
    • Higher flow rates without sacrificing filtration
    • Compatible with synthetic oil

How many times has this happened to you: You’re doing an oil change and the old oil filter won’t budge! Your strap wrench just slips or you don’t have enough room for leverage. Time to drag out the big pliers or pound an old screwdriver through the filter; any way you slice it you’re in for a big mess and skinned knuckles.

Don’t ever let this happen to you again! Insist on the K&N Wrench-Off Canister Oil Filter. The Wrench-Off filter has a 1-in. nut welded to the top of the canister so it can be easily removed with a socket or wrench. But this nut is only the beginning when describing the superiority of this K&N Oil Filter.

The Wrench-Off Canister Oil Filter has thicker canister walls for strength and durability. Thicker walls stand up to rocks and other debris from the outside, and they can withstand a racing engine’s higher oil pressures on the inside without bursting. Your street car engine may never experience such hazards and pressures, but it’s nice to know you have an oil filter tough enough to survive them.

The filtering media in the Wrench-Off filter allows higher flow rates while trapping 99% of harmful contaminants. High flow rates are important for racing vehicles using heavy grade oil, when oil is pumped much faster than in a street engine. Your engine may never use that type of oil or need those flow rates, but it’s nice to know your oil filter has that extra degree of engineering.

As final proof that the K&N Wrench-Off filter is engineered for racing, the 1-in. welded nut has a predrilled hole for attaching safety wire, a requirement in many types of racing to prevent filter loss. You may want the Wrench-Off filter to simplify oil filter removal, but it will also give you peace of mind in between oil changes.

    Warranty Information

K&N O/E Replacement Air Filters and Air Intake Systems purchased from Authorized Dealers are backed by a Million Mile Limited Warranty when used primarily on paved roads and on vehicles for which they were designed. If one of these products ever fails to provide complete satisfaction, K&N will replace it.

K&N Aftermarket Air Filters should be cleaned every 50,000 miles for normal highway use, more often in dusty conditions. Cleaning should be done with K&N cleaner and air filter oil (or comparable air filter cleaner and oil). Use of compressed air, or chemicals not specifically designed to clean and re-oil cotton air filters (i.e. gasoline, transmission fluid, motor oil, lightweight oil, or diesel fuel) will void the warranty. Any damaged, abused or modified K&N Air Filters will not be warranted.

K&N wants to make sure that when you buy a K&N Lifetime Air Filter or Air Intake System, you can be confident your vehicle's warranty will not be impacted. K&N also want you to feel confident that even if you experience difficulties with a dealership repair department, K&N will step-in and resolve the issue, so you won't have to. Therefore, K&N makes the following Pledge: K&N pledges to their customers that they will not be taken advantage of and charged for a repair due to a manufacturer warranty denial blamed on the presence of a K&N product.

    Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:
Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More
