Jeep Wrangler 2007, Hood Latch Upgrade by Daystar®. This is a set of two replacement rubber latch straps that feature stronger, more durable rubber construction than factory original parts. As undersized original rubber straps age, they weaken and stretch – allowing the hood to shimmy and rattle as under hood air flow increases. These upgraded straps are a permanent fix for the problem, and are designed to fit related factory handle pieces for smooth and easy operation.

2007 and newer Jeep Wrangler JK models were built with undersized rubber straps in the factory hood release levers. As airflow under the hood increases with speed, it causes the entire hood panel to rattle and shimmy due to looseness from the latches.
