    MBRP Exhaust Systems

Ford F-350 Super Duty 6.0L 2007, Catatalytic Converter Test Pipe by MBRP®. This Test pipe is to temporarily replace your catalytic converter for testing purposes. Requires MBRP downpipe to be installed for use. This is only a test of your emissions control system. Shortly, you will be instructed how to remove your catalytic converter from your truck to test its performance without this federally-mandated emissions-control device in place. At the conclusion of this test, you will be instructed to replace the converter, returning you to your original emissions legality. This concludes the test of your converter test pipe.

Fitment notes: This is a Federal (EPA) compliant part, legal for use on vehicles built to meet Federal EPA standards ONLY. It is NOT legal for installation on vehicles required to meet CARB standards and/or registered in California and other states which follow CARB standards.

    Emissions: EPA compliant
    Pipe lnlet Diameter: 4"

    • Replaces the catalytic converter for testing
    • Bolts into catalytic converter's place in exhaust system
    • For testing purposes only
    • Only works with MBRP Downpipe
    • Will cause CHECK ENGINE light too come on

Seriously, it's something you've wondered about for years. Exactly how differently will my truck run if I remove the stock catalytic converter? Here's how to find out; Install this test pipe in place of the converter for a little jaunt or a dyno pull or two. Be aware that it's not legal to drive your truck, on- or off-road without the cat in place. Also, be aware that this pipe will make your CHECK ENGINE light come on and stay on until you remove the pipe, replace the converter and reset the ECM. If you're convinced the converter is a bottleneck, or has slagged down internally from overheating, here's the way to find out. Installation of this test pipe also requires installation of the MBRP downpipe first.
