Mercedes M Class 2006, Throttle Actuator by Bosch®. The air supply to the cylinder is controlled by means of a throttle body in the case of a gasoline engine. The electronic engine management triggers the throttle body electrically. Trigger input variables include the accelerator pedal position and the requirements of systems that can influence the engine torque, e.g. ACC, ESP®, or speed controller.
