The multi-port fuel injection (MPI) system was a significant improvement over the carburetor and throttle body injection systems it replaced as it provides much better fuel control. This system operates using one injector per cylinder positioned in the intake manifold above each intake valve. Fuel is injected onto the intake valve where it is mixed with the air and sent to the combustion chamber. A faulty multi-port fuel injector can lead to problems such as high emissions, decreased fuel economy, poor performance, etc. If you need a cost-effective solution to a faulty injector, GB Remanufacturing will meet all your demands.
With its extensive line of remanufactured fuel injectors, GB is just the ticket for drivers who expect reliable performance and don't want to pay high dealer costs. The experts at GB restore the part to a condition that is equal to, or often better than, that of a new OEM product by reusing the components that don't wear out and carefully replacing all faulty units. GB utilizes the latest cleaning equipment, ultrasonic baths, flow benches, and computers to ensure that every remanufactured fuel injector meets or exceeds OE requirements. Plus, GB carefully analyzes all failure modes and makes upgrades to prevent failure of the part in the future, so in many cases a GB Remanufacturing injector is better than new.
This multi-port fuel injector features the same fit, form, and function as the original part because all injectors remanufactured by GB are exact OEM replacement parts, not similar or aftermarket injectors. In the remanufacturing process, each injector is cleaned, degreased, and subjected to a coil resistance test. After that, the injector is ultrasonically cleaned using state of the art equipment, reversed/back flushed, and put through a battery of tests such as spray pattern, leak down, flow rate tests, etc. Before the technicians install new components and make a final inspection, each injector is polished, clear-coated, and lubricated.
