What An Upgrade From Factory OEM
The C-Tek rotors I ordered for my Tundra were to replace the factory rotors that came on the truck. Not only do the C-Tek rotors look cool with the drilled holes and slots but they function with superior braking. Lastly for all the clean freaks like myself, the brake dust that constantly stuck to the rims has all but been eliminated. As the product info describes, the brake dust is channeled away from the wheels. I wash my truck constantly and there was always an accumulation of black brake dust on my mag wheels from the time my truck was new. I had the trucks first brake job done where the factory rotors were turned and the pads replaced. Still brake dust for the past four years a weekly event. Since replacing the rotors with C-Tek sport drilled and slotted brake rotors, there has been absolutely no brake dust on the wheels. I asked my mechanic who did the work if it was the pads making the difference, which were premium metallic and he told me they were the same exact pads he used last time. The only explanation is the C-Tek rotors do what they say. Go figure... By the way, watch the online video about Centric, very impressive technology being used to deliver a superior product choice to OEM at very fair value. I would recommend this product to anyone who owns a car or truck when getting next brake work done. I plan putting a set on my wife"s Chrysler 300C in about 5000 miles.
