Cadillac Escalade 2000, Upshift Plus Roof Mount Bike Rack by SportRack®. The SportRack® Escape Towing has all the features you'd expect to find in a premium priced hitch rack, at a great value. It gently cradles and protects your bikes with rubber straps and anti-sway blocks, the rack arms fold down when not in use, and tilts down when you need access to the rear of the vehicle.
- Self-adjusting jaws automatically wrap around the downtube for precise frame hold
- Large wheel trays hold your bike securely during transit
- Lock included to secure the bike to the carrier
- Mounts directly to most factory and aftermarket rack systems (max. 3.5" crossbar diameter)
- Fits bike frames up to 3 3/8" in diameter and tires up to 2.6" wide
The SportRack® Escape Towing proves that you can transport up to 4 bikes safely and securely at an affordable price. Its soft rubber cradles and straps will gently secure your bike to the rack arms, while the anti-sway blocks prevent movement and potential damage from bike-to-bike and bike-to-vehicle contact. The included strap is then wrapped around the bike frames and rack arms for a final measure of security.
Constructed from heavy-duty, high-strength steel to give you many years of reliable service, the SportRack® Escape Towing also has features you wouldn't expect to find in a value-priced carrier. For example, it includes a hitch ball mount(ball sold separately), so you can tow up to 2,000 lbs. while hauling your bikes. When not hauling bikes, the rack arms can be folded down, to provide additional space for parking and garaging. And with the removal of a pin from the pivot, the mast and arm assembly can be tilted down to gain access to the rear trunk, hatch or tailgate.
The SportRack® Escape Towing can accommodate up to 4 bikes and 180 lbs., and requires a hitch with a minimum Class II rating. It comes with everything necessary for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.
