A leaky transmission makes a mess wherever you park, and if ignored, a low fluid level can cause operating problems. When a transmission gets old and worn, it can begin to slip during shifts, indicated by a telltale flare of engine speed during the shift. This rebuild kit contains all the gaskets and seals to make sure your transmission is leak-proof. It also contains the various O-rings, spacers, clips, thrust washers and bushings needed to restore internal clearances to specification. New friction discs for the clutch packs and/or new bands are included to make sure components lock together properly for crisp shifts. Finally, a new filter is included to make sure only clean fluid reaches critical areas.
This rebuild kit is designed and specifically manufactured for your Jeep. It's made to fit and function the same or better than original equipment, so you can be assured that installation will go smoothly and operation will be flawless. The automatic transmission rebuild kit is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
