1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Headlights

I think my Jeep had the original headlights from '94 so these were a great upgrade when the old ones got too fogged over to see enough. These produce plenty of light on both low and high beams, and the halos around the lights plug into the parking light wiring so they're on with parking lights or full headlights. The plug for them is a pretty tight fit though and required a lot of force and a screwdriver to get it seated well. Installation is pretty easy but adjustment can be tricky. The main mounting peg must be adjusted to account for the size difference, but I couldn't get them to securely fasten in while being flush on the sides; there's about 1/4" of empty space between the outside edge of the headlight housing and the panel of the jeep. They also snap onto the adjustment screws so the angle and alignment can be centered with an Allen wrench. There is also no real attachment of the housing to the vehicle outside of snapping onto the pegs, which could be a theft risk as they would just pop off and unplug. I put the mounting screws back into the tops and let them make a couple holes. Fortunately they aren't visible from the outside. The only true negative that I've found is that the low beam field of illumination seems to be rather narrow and does not extend to the sides much, so making a sharper turn in the dark doesn't let you see too much of where you're going. I haven't tested to see if this also applies to the high beams.
