Ford Ranger 1987, Elite™ Engine Coolant Molded Bypass Hose by Continental® ContiTech™. This flexible hose can be used to replace a molded radiator hose. It has a corrugated cover that easily follows the bends of the OE coolant hose and includes a wire insert to resist collapse. This part is used with automotive coolants and provides full coolant flow.
- Versigard EPDM rubber tube and cover
- Designed to withstand temperature from -40°F to +257°F
- Reinforced with Synthetic Knit
- A wire insert helps prevent collapsing
- Resistant to Electrochemical Degradations (ECR)
- Constructed to meet SAE J20R5 D1 specifications
- 40 to 30 PSI working pressure depending on the hose size
- Not for use in fuel or oil transfer applications
Continental ContiTech™ Elite™ radiator hoses are designed to transfer glycol-based coolants to and from the radiator and through other components of the cooling system. This flexible radiator hose easily bends to replicate the form of the OE part and maintains full coolant flow. The EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) construction, synthetic knit reinforcement, and a wire insert give this hose the strength and resistance to collapse. EPDM is a quality synthetic rubber that effectively withstands heat, ozone, and chemical coolants. Every part is built to meet or exceed strict SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) standards that ensure the safety, quality, and effectiveness of products across the engineering industry.
Continental® ContiTech™ is an engineered rubber products group of Continental AG and known as a leader in OE-quality power transmission technology.
